Idk about anyone else but I saw LOADS of roaming actors last year- granted they were the same ones over and over again- the cult in the red hoods and then the ones all in black with white faces. My friends and I, among a few others got trapped between the two groups of actors over by SAW at the beginning of the evening and all hell broke loose :') probably my fave moment of Fright Nights last year, just utter chaos and everyone running around screaming! The actors in the Cabin and Studio 13 queuelines were good too- didn't see any in other queues but heard there were some in MBV? Never saw Your Next the previous year so IMO last year was an upgrade in that department, though I may just have been really unlucky!

Shhhhh.... My days as "cinnamon" are behind me. Let me move on :'(

So this is gonna sound really dumb probably but A) people are saying they got in for £5 but now the website is saying it's £10... Am I looking in the wrong place? can you just go in the day and then leave beforehand because I'd planned to go tomorrow totally forgetting it was island beats haha

Fair play tbh, that's a good point. I mean more like, it doesn't seem like that's their goal you know? While some people may be enjoying the changes, I think it's more that they keep using trial and error for new methods than that they are doing so to entertain people. but who am I to judge I've done it in excess of 5 times now haha! Good little attraction (and while odd, the "scary" run through was actually my fave!)

Oh we weren't rushed though... They seemed to be specifically making it longer! It was at the beginning of the day too and they kept adding new bits and pieces in... So odd haha! The issue is I don't think they have a CLUE what they're doing and every time I've been through it's been wildly different. I wonder if they're ever gonna get it together!

No word of a lie, I went in this for the third time on a random Tuesday in June and for some reason the actors were trying to make it scary? There was so much more build up and then they started trying to make us jump the whole time. Example- when I was in one of the chambers, an actor came in through the back and whispered creepily in my ear then just stood there way too close- made me jump like mad because I wasn't mentally prepared for them to be trying scare tactics in I'm a Celeb! Then someone jumped out from around the corner and threw a toy snake right in my face as I came down the slide hahahaha was the weirdest thing! Also happened again when I came into the shop after going on inferno... Anyhow, been in it since and all such madness has stopped... Everyone I went in with agreed it was really strange though! xD

Yeah yesterday they actually did practice evacuation while the park was open... At like 11am. Really odd choice to be honest, but interesting to watch it happen. Least they're being cautious I guess!

Such a shame it's gone downhill again so fast, Monday was by far the best ride I've ever had on it; so so intense, beyond anything I thought it was capable of! Guess it's kinda hit and miss :/

Honestly, what I don't like about RnR is the fact that I really don't mind queueing! If you're with good people it's all part of the experience. Also, it doesn't allow you to be sporadic and just jump on whatever when it's quiet, you have to go on your phone and reserve. My battery won't last a whole day

Slightly off topic but yesterday Colossus was running half a train service, literally a whole huge section in the middle wasn't being used, and it seemed to be squeaking... Like really loudly. No idea what's going on but was one of the most jolty rides I've ever had with a constant squeaking to go along with it :/ Hoping that is an undercoat and we might see a pretty, brand-new looking Colossus not too far from now... At least I can dream

I never cared for Slammer but still sad to see the state it's in, and Samurai isn't much better. Surely it's almost time for the two to leave the park considering their lack of reliability and how difficult they seem to maintain?

I have never ever had the fire effect go off while I've been on the swarm and I go on it at least once a month, talk about bad luck haha

IMO Where the original nemesis is intense it's REALLY intense, way more so than inferno, but inferno seems to be more consistant. They're both very different despite sharing a name, both are fantastic. Do love infernos mist though (but nemmy is my favourite!)

Having Detonator closed for this long is driving me insane, not being able to ride on my last two visits was so disappointing, fave ride

The back seats are a little too rough for me, but nearer the front is a great ride, one of my favourites in the park. I personally find Saw rougher but then again, I think it's just different kinda of roughness. The Colossus trains constantly vibrate which on the worst bits can cause head banging, but In my experience, the Saw cars just sort of jolt from time to time more randomly, jerking your head suddenly. Prefer Colossus- longer ride, more interesting IMO and that airtime hill is so perfect

^^ and you probably share the opinion of 99.9% of this site tbh. In fairness I miss being able to ride forwards on row 7, it was fab.

Okay- unpopular opinion alert- but I actually prefer Swarm backwards... forwards is forceful enough I guess but since the seats that are now backwards provided the best forwards experience, it's just not as good imo. Backwards actually scares me a little tbh and no other ride has or does so that's a bonus- I always get serious head rush at the bottom of the drop and spend the rest of the ride dizzy and in hysterical laughter, so much fun Great ride either way tbh

This is my least fave thing in the whole world
