Vampire did greatly exceed my expectations tbh (although I think it needs inversions). So if it wasn't a family coaster and it had inversions, it could beat Inferno as my favourite coaster. But I like that it's forceful and you get a pretty decent amount of air time too, although the second time we rode it on Sunday I found it pretty turbulent after the second lift hill, but in hindsight it's most probably as I braced myself at the wrong places.

Wow and I thought Thorpe had tight planning permissions But it does look pretty good tbh. If they actually turn out like those picture then it'll be a great addition to the park.

It'll be interesting to see what Thorpe do with Detty given that they're limiting themselves to a week, but it'll probably be closed former than a week given Thorpe and Merlin's history.

With regards to the possible green repaint- wouldn't deep red restraints look odd with a bright green structure? They are compliementary colours and whatever but I couldn't see it looking that nice at all. They're killing Detenator as it is, a bright green repaint would be too much for me tbh. Unless they replace the OTSRs, but this is Merlin. EDIT: But I can see a reasonable amount of potential for the Detty retheme.

I went on bubble works for the first time ever on Sunday and I was really disappointed not just I the theming but how poorly kept it seemed. Peaj pointed out how they ripped the Imperial Leather labels off of the bottles but there was still quite a bit of the sticker left on it so it just looked shabby. It generally seemed unkept and really needs some TLC. The fountain finale was okay but there was just one mirrored wall, they missed a lot of theming ops when they 'rethemed' it a few years ago IMO.

On a serious note I think that people should be encouraged to sit next to everyone so people can get to know each other etc. especially newer members would benefit from this I think.

I've already said stuff on shoutbox but oh well. Today has been great, I have never came across such a lovely group of people(besides Ryan) I often struggle to socialise etc. but it was so easy with you guys and you're all pretty hilarious. I hope to go to the towers and Thorpe meets so I hope to see you all then!

I hate it when you get a decent grade in your exam, someone asks you what you got, you tell them, then some arrogant child says that you're bragging when you was merely answering someone's question. Especially as I try to keep my grades to myself, this infuriates me.
