Looks good, I prefer dark blue to green so I'm satisfied.

I know it was quite a while ago when I went to Six Flags, but my brother has just finished editing a video made up of shots he took at the park which has just been uploaded.

I find it funny when the media tries, they look so ridiculous. It does also serve them right on many occasions

Thank you very much! @Cian @ThemeParkCrafter

I just found out that I got a merit for Grade 6 piano, which I'm satisfied with

If you're referring to the Magic Kingdom one then I totally agree. The lap bar is uncomfortable, the layout is boring, there's not really much about it that appeals to me .

I prefer DBGT to Kong. However, many of you already know my opinion of DBGT So take a wild guess of what I think of Kong...

Green Lantern's drop, vertical loop and dive loop.

Even though these additions aren't necessarily great, I'm actually more excited for these than I was for DBGT. I think that if the new flat rides were installed effectively, it could significantly increase the variety at Thorpe Park and at least give some more to the young ones.

I agree with @Mark9 The staff had two options, risk the boy falling out and possibly getting killed, or put up with some criticism. Since safety is the biggest priority, they had no choice. This is a completely unfair situation on the park, this could happen at any park.

I think Cheetah Hunt is the best ride at BGT

I'm already counting down the days, I'm just pathetically excited!

The removal of Kingda Ka would be my nightmare, and what's frightening is that there are constant rumours about it being removed and that has actually been said by staff members before in previous years (even though removals have never actually happened). Everyone knows that I have a huge soft spot for Kingda Ka (I couldn't have made it any clearer over the forum) and the memory of Kingda Ka is currently what is getting through A Levels. If Kingda Ka were to go, SFGA would probably be off my radar completely (maybe not completely but it wouldn't be a prioritised park). At least we have TTD in case that happens.

I prefer Space Mountain: Mission 2 (DLP) to Rock N Roller Coaster (WDW). I also think Space Mountain (WDW) is a boring, uncomfortable uneventful roller coaster (I feel sorry for those without the fastpass that had to queue 70 minutes).

Thorpe Park x10 Chessington x1 Parque de Atracciones de Madrid x1 Seaworld Orlando x2 Islands of Adventure x2 Universal Hollywood x1 Busch Gardens x2 4 Disney Parks x1 Blizzard Beach x1 Aquatica x1 Six Flags Great Adventure x1 As you can see, it's been quite a busy year for me. No AT though ? Next up: Winter Wonderland!

I'm just puzzled as to why there are brake fins in between the LSMs, don't LSMs also act as brakes?
-
I am excited, but I have ridden Kingda Ka which exceed this coaster in many areas so my expectations aren't overly high. I do think using a winch would be more appropriate for this type of coaster. The lack of acceleration won't make the ride as exhilarating as it could've been.

Sorry again about the double post but... TESTING HAS BEGUN!!!!!!! (+ the rebound towers are complete)

Kumba is one of my least favourite B&Ms (the first half is great, but it is let down by everything after the MCBR).
-
When I get a fairly smooth ride on Saw (which does happen), it becomes my favourite ride at Thorpe Park. Unfortunately, most of my rides I get are rough but I still find it enjoyable in a sense.
-
You like the Big One... To be fair, when I rode it in 2012 (when I was 12) I was in fact blown away by the experience. Probably because I was in the back row and you probably know what the first drop is like in the back I haven't put it in my top 15 yet because I want to ride it again to have a secure opinion.

Whoever you are, we know you have an unpopular opinion. More or less every enthusiast does. So this topic is a chance to confess your opinions that many other enthusiasts will disagree with. Chances are, disagreements will occur but that's all part of the fun and you do have to accept that everyone has their own opinions. I'll give some of my unpopular opinions: I think Kingda Ka is better than El Toro. I actually enjoy Intamin Zacspins (basing it off my experience on Inferno). So far, I don't hate SLCs (this could change though, as the SLCs I've ridden aren't said to be that bad). I think G-Force is a fun ride. Space mountain: Mission 2 is in my top 10. Nemesis (AT) is not my favourite invert. There are many more I can't remember at the moment of writing this...

I remember friends saying "the lights were broken so the ride wasn't dark". That does sound like a stupid 'GP' quote, but I can understand why that was said. However, when I did ride it in 2012 the lights were all off. Did they realise having lights on didn't solve the problems or something?

They were just lucky they didn't decide to build a spinning coaster on a similar layout. Just imagine how disastrous that would be
