  1. Some people, like myself, have been following the project with extreme interest since day one, so it's safe to say lots of people want to get there first. There's always something special about opening days you don't get on any other day.
  2. https://www.chessington.com/downloads/plan/local-residents/future-development-display-boards-2016.pdf Well then...

  4. Am I the only person who wasn't overly impressed with Summer Nights? I think it's because I kept loosing my friends (and that would take ages to find out where they were), the heat and the random nose bleed half way through.
  5. The weather has been getting better, and as far as I know, Stealth doesn't like the heat.
  6. I've only done the left on row five- but compared to right on five, it's not as intense. Back-row is really intense, especially when compared to the front.
  7. My ride fear was cured by one day saying "I'm done with being scared, let's go ride The Smiler" About Colossus- It's weird but fun. It's a strange mix of being weightless and hanging in your restraint one minute, then back on your bum the next. It's not too dizzying as well.
  8. The animals are the most reliable thing at Chessington, can't remember when they last broke down... EDIT: At the end of March they were awaiting a part for the Lion enclosure, but they got that running again pretty darn fast.
  9. If it wasn't for "station rule", it would've taken me much longer to cure ride fear.
  10. I've stopped collecting badges at the moment, but boy, do I have pop badges... -Kobra -Zufari -Amazu -Scorpion Express -Wild Adventurer -Vampire -Giraffe -Merlin Annual Pass -Lorakeet Lagoon -Tiger -Lioness
  11. Sub-Terra was a massive publicity stunt, the BBFC actually said there wasn't any reason to rate it.
  12. Back left is amazing, the way you get yanked off the second lift <3
  13. I really enjoy Vampire, it's a unique sensation, especially as there aren't many swinging coasters left. In the right seats, I find it pretty thrilling- it's probably my favorite family coaster around.

    This Or That

is obviously the better. PotAHto or PotAYto?
  15. Ah, never do that! To help cure ride fears, I made a thing called "station rule". It's where as soon as you enter the station area, there's no going back (unless as member of staff says otherwise). It makes you think, and doesn't mean you let yourself down.
  16. I've been to Thorpe Park 7 times since October 2014 (my first visit) and have never seen the attraction in operation...
  17. I wanted to start of with something light, but ended up being forced into Cabin (which was Thorpe's most intense last year). Granted, I was terrified, but you'll come out saying "when are we doing all the others?".
  18. I know there was some work going on in the drop area, maybe they had to remove it so they could carry out work and never put it back?
  19. Big Scorpion Thunder Express Mine-Train The worlds first Roller-Coaster to go from Alton Towers, Disney, Chessington, then back to Towers!
  20. It was advertised as 30mins earlier?
  21. Holy Guacamole... One day I am going to ride this, and a good day that will be.
  22. I haven't seen anything... ...however, I have seen this...

    This Or That

    Chips Dinosaurs or Unicorns?
  24. Inversions are a very weird, yet fun sensation. I find that a ride will always look much worse than it actually is... Take Rameses Revenge, for example. I used to look at it and think "You'd have to be insane to ride something even close to that", but I found it was just a pretty weird experience. Conveniently, I only cured ride-fear fully about a year ago- so I have lots of experience.
