Good old Tobi. I really hope this ride spins now... I'd have preferred it to be less banked on the first turn though, the laterals would be better. -
Thorpe have a large family investment one year, and the next year they get a horror maze and a ghost train. Seriously, what do TP want? Dismaland meets angry birds land?

I think the permanent CONTAINMENT! will have less actors due to the cuts.

I've always liked the dream ride concept. In fact, I once designed a theme park called dreamscape. At the centre was a multi launch called cloud 9. All the rides in dreamscape had positive, happy, fun themes. I just wish Thorpe made happier themed. It won't be long until Thorpe park is fright park. In terms of new coasters, a multi launch is ideal but I see the next addition being a spinner or a dive machine.

A mack or zamperla Moto coaster could be good. For families and thrill seekers alike.

^ Lightning Run looks like a great coaster and I'd love to see one at TP. However, the fact that it is the only Chance Hyper gt-x in the world makes me think that there must be some problem with it...

I dislike the name but I can't think of anything better. The Pain Train Ft: Derren Brown is all I can come up with - and that sounds more like a MoS act. At least Thorpe Park hasn't renamed itself Nick Varney World.

A decent hyper only needs to be 215 odd feet high. Just taller than stealth.

Surely a hyper would go from the island behind The swarm to behind inferno and the Rapids.

If they are spending lots on the actual ride, surely they could have invested more in the queue...

I'm expecting shorter queues around the park due to this ride. A few more flats and I don't think the queues will be too bad at all. Surely the majority would want to ride DBGT when they go to the park? After all, it's had a lot of publicity.

My favourite bit of dark rides is discussing with your friends afterwards. After hex, me and my friend were discussing the story, whether we were actually upside down and how it worked. We won't be able to do that after this....

I don't think a mega lite would appeal to the masses. All my friends just want inversions, speed, height and launches. Unfortunatley, a mega lite has none of those features.

Yes. PA will have europe's first and second tallest coaster.

^ I think the transporter would be a really nice introduction to the ride as it could easily replicate a train. It's also one of DA's cheapest attractions. What most excites me is the different aspects of the rides. I'm imagining leaving the VR and then entering a maze. Then entering another section and so on. What I'm not looking forward to is the actors who will usher you from section to section.

Surely DA would have just said no if they weren't involved. Why be mysterious if you have no involvement in the project?
