Flying Dinosaur (according to the queue times board) opened with a 750 minute queue time. Yes, that's 12.5 hours! As a result, the queue was shut 20 minutes after opening! Is that bad throughput, insane popularity or just a monumental mistake?

Yeah, the logos are great - and I'm not not just saying that. I like the simplicity of them. I think maybe The excalibur roller coaster would be better if it was just called Excalibur to make it a bit more catchy. Having said that TP have a ride called Nemesis Inferno. PM-I'll give you more ideas!

You could call the family coaster Medieva, Crusade or duel. The area could be called Brittania and an other name I like is Trident (perhaps for a flat ride in Atlantis).

Couldn't agree more. Ru Pauls Drag Race. Absolute rubbish. My sister persuaded me to watch one with her and it is safe to say that it was the single worst piece of television I have ever seen. The budget was minuscule and it showed in the awful set design and catastrophic graphics and music. Never ever again shall I be made to watch such a poor excuse for a television programme.

Lighting does a great deal for a rides charm and atmosphere. The latter looks cheap and tacky which should be the opposite of the desired feel of a dark ride.

Indeed. Electricity will never catch on. In all seriousness though, cuts on staff, cuts on rides and now cuts on electricity? Yes, AT's current financial situation needs to be dealt with, but I don't believe cutting rides and staff will lead to more visitors and in turn an increase of income.

Although it doesn't appear a tall coaster, we must remember that it's taller than White Lightning which is a fantastic family friendly woodie that has a small footprint. So, this should be, and can be better.

Yes please can we have evidence. I've learnt from experience never to believe anything without evidence. So just a screenshot or any other piece of evidence would be highly appreciated. Ryan made up the rumour of Hex getting VR so I just don't want this to be the case of the boy who cried wolf.

Do you really value looks over smoothness and general ride enjoyment? I agree that this track is uglier but if it is smoother and currently favoured by Intamin then why not use it?

Adventure Island aren't happy unless their rides either rhyme or are alliterative. So, at least this is slightly more unique in terms of a name.

Does anyone know whether the park map will be changing for the 2016 season?

Don't kill me here but I preferred it to Loggers. I never got to ride LL with the enclosed drop but I loved the flumes enclosed drop, it was actually quite exciting. I also liked the fact that the majority of the ride was in the air which just gave it an exciting feeling that I feel Loggers didn't have.

My main concern about DBGT is the IP of Derren Brown. Will Derren be as respected and popular in 10 years and what effect will this have on the ride? Derren is 44 so I can't see him continuing with his shows in 15 years. I just worry about how the popularity of Derren himself will directly effect the popularity of this ride.

I know that a more recent update has been posted and that the construction in this picture is minimal but despite this picture not being completely up to date, it does show the scale of the portal and the front on view:

Will they update the tunnel? From an onride perspective it won't be necessary but I'd love a bit of a refurbishment. The tunnel currently looks less space portal and more car park.

The pirate 4d cinema is located under the bridge in the section that is now Adventure Inside. I haven't been for a long while so it may have been destroyed in favour of AI.

I'm not a fan at all. Hopefully some smoke, lights and more detail will make the portal fit into FV. It looks cheap and charmless at the moment IMO.

Great report! Thanks Jamie. I used to go to this park a lot however I haven't been for a year. I love this parks flat rides - scorpion, vortex and pharoah's fury always really surprise me with their forcefulness. (I haven't been since the arrival of time machine) Did you go on the strange pirate themed indoor 4d cinema? That was my first childhood attraction and I'll always love it's little charm!

The Blueprints have been released. They have revealed the maximum height is 60 feet so a mack spinner seems very likely.
