Now there's a thing; if an over eighteen wanted to ride it repeatedly, then they could lease themselves out, let's see, fifty pence for five, times..........

Think I'll stick to the other rides.

    Your cheap!

  2. Scare experiences could be anything from more scenery to different or maybe more actors. Did they actually have a scare zone last year as I can only remember the wandering actors.

Hopefully in in week or two all of the questions will be answered.

  3. You normally get one badge in your pass pack. When you on park 8deally Legoland or chessington you buy a kids lunch and you get another badge. If you ask nicely you might be able to get a couple more from one meal. Then as you walk around park you will notice staff have badges on their lanyards and you just ask if you can swap. Just don't forget that the staff are working and might be very busy. That's pretty much all there is to it.

Sometimes there are special events where you can get more badges. Also the sea lifes are a good place to get badges and it gives you more swaps.

  4. First off congratulations on the weight loss.

I'm a 2XL/3XL and I can get on Saw Swarm (it is a little snug), Stealth and Inferno (although I always go to the big boy seats).  Unfortunately I can't really help with the flat rides as I don't really do them.  However anything with a lap bar you will be fine on. Most of the big rides have tester seats, so don't be afraid to try them.

Where is the designated RAP seat on The Smiler?

I don't think there is a dedicated seat. You join the main queue at the baggage hold and then make your way to loading platform.  Bear in mind I have only done this once, so hopefully someone with more knowledge will come alone.

  6. I can tell you now as a father of 2 young children they wouldn't be bored with it. They love the zoo and it would be another way to see the animals.

Chessington's demographic are young families as that is where the money is. They have to appeal to the kids and then it is that pressure which makes the parents take them and spend money.

They need to invest an awful lot of capital into the resort as another family thrill ride would go down a treat, as well as a couple of rides everyone can enjoy. And of course just clean the place up and improve the general atmosphere.

  7. Does anyone think that the theming for Timber Tug boat could be correct, and the rest of the area is wrong?  I mean what is actually in that area, an old log flume that may or may not be refurbished and rocky express.  Is it possible that they may decide to re-theme the small area?

  8. Unfortunately this type of PR, marketing or advertising is the world we now live in.  Everything is over hyped, for example I don't buy aftershave thinking that every supermodel would be attracted to me or that it would improve my life considerably, even though that is what some of the adverts portray.  I personally hate this type of advertising, just give me the facts and let me make my own mind up.

Although I am looking forward to trying the Ghost Train, as I found it enjoyable, but it is different strokes for different folks.
