Nemesis: Sub-Terra
Yeh that is a nice touch. Alton have really made a great effort on the theming and story of this ride, without it that forceless ABC drop would be on par with the likes of Storm Surge.I would say its quite similar to Hex, the only difference being that Hex delivers on the actual ride experience where Sub Terra does not.

Not a bad effort, the weakest Merlin one for me though.

The Swarm
Right its time for a review. After riding 7 times on Thursday in all the key positions (Front, Back of both sides) and again yesterday with the KISS FM Hunger Games competition I really think THORPE PARK have created something special. The ride is simply majestic and elegant. I LOVE it. Hats off to THORPE PARK they have really created a great attraction here, however I do have some issues, niggles so to speak. I don't think THORPE PARK could have done much more to create a better ride experience, however I really think they have been let down by the ride hardware and B&M. The ride suffers from a lack of force which really makes it more suitable to the family audience, althougth like Thirteen at Alton Towers, it has been markted as a thrill machine and either looks to indimidating or has a too great height restriction for all the family to enjoy.I think infact THORPE PARK have been listening to much to us. I don't think this ride system is the best they could of choosen with the budget to suit their target audience. Young Adults and teens want a thrill machine, an intense ride. This is not and I really think this may affect the ride has on gate figures, which is dissapointing because Thorpe have done the best they could with the equipment. With Saw they hit the nail on the head with their target audience. It was an intense thrill machine with a popular theme attached, perfect. I think they have missed a trick with the The Swarm. Many people will know I am not the biggest B&M fan, but please don't 'have a go' because of this post, I just wanted to put my thoughts out there...As a footnote, I am THROUGHLY impressed with THORPE PARK, they have done an amazing job with THE SWARM, I love the ride, its great fun and I really hope I am proved wrong and it does bring in the guests, because Thorpe deserve something out of this.

THE SWARM: In The Media
It was down for at the very least an hour of the day so it wasn't great, but not a complete diaster by any strech of the imagination.

Alton Towers General Discussion
I heard towers droped from 3 million to 2 million. That sounds like pure bull**** to me though, 1 million guests lost in a year is virtually impossible.

Very poor, although the park may die down in the last hour or two, 5 is really the earliest the park should close. So tickets go up in price and hours reduce, that must be a significant relative increase in entry price.
