  1. I'm sorry but I'm pretty sure B&M love their trims at least as much, if not more, than Intamin!Sliver Star Cough. Cough.

  4. Or Chessie maybe? Good idea from GCI, I reckon that would ride great.
  5. What is the capacity for Alton? I thought it was about 35/40 thousand? 54k isn't too bad I suppose...
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5aTNdWdxJoNot really off topic, but I made a video to round off this theme park season...
  7. It was a great effort from the park, and lets face it we should expect it all the time, but the world does not work like that. WELL DONE THORPE PARK !
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiQ0DeBxFNwLast day of the season update...
  9. Just a few words about hte event from me. I was VERY impressed. The park itself was a disgrace to be honest. Saw, Colossus, Stealth, Quantum and Storm Surge experienced extended periods of downtime - piss poor ride availability. Thorpe had not even bothered to take down any Fright Nights theming or tents which looked completely unprofessional and pathetic. The queues for pre-booked tickets were also unacceptable. However, the atmosphere was just so special. Probbably because it was last day of the season, but the staff were so happy, bantering with each other and the guests. Everyone was just having a great time and that is just pure and simply what is it about. As darkness fell, a park wide dj erupted on all the speakers. He did a fantastic job all right, firing up the crowd, keeping people informed of food discounts and playing some BANGING tunes! These suited the park so well at this particular event and created a magic atmosphere in the build up to the fireworks all around the park. Great work from Thorpe. The fireworks display itself was superb set to a great mix of songs, and the Truck finale was completely world class. What a great way to end what has been a pretty good season!
  10. For anyone who missed the event this weekend: this - what a move from Thorpe Park - stunning. impressed with event, full review later today or tommorow.
  11. Not gonna lie Inferno at the front in the dark a couple of hours ago was pure class!
  12. Very close between Saw and Stealth, I went for Stealth in th end thought but only by a whisker. The others are no real contest, especially TW!
  13. Sounds like it! What was the Gate Figure, I imagine with those lines in excess of 30,000?Anyway here is a video I made... :)
  14. As you may well know, I have been getting a lot of stick recently for my dislike of Nemesis Inferno. This is a poll and topic to discuss your thoughts on the B&M Invert and to see how popular it really is on TPM!
  15. Well I've clearly touched the nerves of the B&M fanclub this morning.Yeh OK not large elements, elements of the post I disagreed with. Strongly. Well if you are on park tommorow, enjoy your boring forceless ride on Inferno. Lets just pray that the Swarm delivers a little more...
  16. I'm sorry but I completley disagree with large elements of this post. Most reliable coaster - agree, no question. Best ride music - debatable, I prefer ColossusBest Throughput - no question, agree. Smoothest - agree againMost intense on park - get real that is just simply not true. Unlike Colossus, Stealth, Saw and even X:\No Way Out, it doesn't claim to be anything it's not - Colossus is marketed as a 10 looping coaster, it has 10 inversions. Stealth is fast and tall and was marketed as such. Saw was overhyped but still delivers far more than Inferno.
  17. I never said your opinion was wrong about Inferno, you are absolutely entitled to your own opinion as your blog has stated beautifully. However I still fail to understand how you can have an opinion on a ride that you have yet to experience.
  18. I'm just not happy with all this 'The Swarm is a great coaster' because it hasn't even been built yet. And in no way shape or form is Inferno the best coaster on Park.
  19. You haven't even been on The Swarm, it might be crap like Nemesis Inferno! :PI would ask them: What is the project are you proudest of?

Okay I know this has been out for ages, but seriously WORLD CLASS. If this does not touch any of your emotions, you are not human!
  21. Chessington was really good this year, I enjoyed both of my trips. However it really does need some investment.
  22. Are they just dossing at the moment, nothing seems to be happening...
  23. You will be fine without pre-booking tommorow, will be quiet.
