  1. Maybe because Chessie had no plans of any sort of investment for 08 season until merlin looked into the park and thought.. christ it needs investment.. here, have a temporary sealife centre which we have lying around.. as its better than nothing, and we can invest properly in the future! *cough*Perhaps.. just perhaps
  2. 39,000.. staff test ride, but what the heck :o34,000 during open times.
  3. The zoo is doing really well. For the few weeks it was open before march last year it made £40k gross profit - that is amazing considering they expected to get about £8k. Sealife is an added attraction and one which everyone will visit (because its fish.. why wouldn't you go see fish?). Even though its not permenant, they haven't marketed it that way, so I doubt its just to bring people to the zoo during this time period.

    Dinner

Homemade lasange with baby carrots.. scrummy bums.
  5. I've been on Vampire halfway up Lifthill 1 for 15mins before. Engineers have to have their laughs somehow.. so not really a breakdown, but good all the less.Apart from that.. been on too many breakdowns to count. Just not the ones I want to be on (X:\NWO!)
  6. Coaster temperature is true - if you bothered watching the testings, you would've noticed how incredibly close they were to stalling. Not good really
  7. Chessie being closer to M25 - and I'm taking into account that majority of people I know live in south london, kent, sussex or berkshire.. Chessie is closer to them.
  8. CWoA being a good meeting point - very easy to get to via trains or road.. and chessie is closer to most people than thorpe is.
  9. Because the map is the most stupid thing on this earth. Storm in a teacup does not relate to calypso in anyway, shape or form. It used to be called.. erm.. something.. but was changed when it moved into amity.
  10. WWTP has almost always been played on SIAT, since its been called that anyway. It has been in amity cove for a few years now
  11. If you book in advance, its cheaper and you're guaranteed a seat. Which is the point of booking in advance. Bus is £3.70 for unlimited journeys (w00t).. I dont understand the whole cab malarky, as the brand new first buses are great and fast enough . I dont understand the stopping thing, why would you want to stop a journey? .People being useless and unorganised is a factor with people missing trains. Plan the journey ahead and you're fine :PBut I'm a train fanboy .
  12. Of course trains are not as bad as people think they are - I've been able to get to alton by public transport within the time it has taken for us to drive there before.(and the fact it costs me £9 each way if I book a couple of days in advance)
  13. Oh this one was over restraints - but I dont moan unless I've done it myself. The shutdown took 15mins, whereas I've had to run to a cleaning cupboard, clean it up (all over restraint and carpet) on vampire within 5.
  14. I had a slightly different view of the park.Colossus queueline was absolutely disgusting with chewing gum, litter and graffiti on the bins - we were one of the first few to go through the queueline, so that wasn't touched. Vortex queue wasn't much better either. The park looks a bit tatty.. rush with its stick-on signs all peeling off. Project Link still not working properly.Though the staff were good on certain rides.. excellent on Colossus and inferno. Stealth team sucked arse at loading times, but they all seemed rather new anyway.

I remember seeing it a while ago.. some sort of missions with helicopter. No idea where it was from though, that was before the days of youtube
  16. Holly looks like she's in pain in that stealth photo .Was a good day.. thorpe was bland as per usual, the evenings are always the best things on these trips. Thanks to mark, marc and Ian for a good time out as always
  17. Up and about, cant find Young Persons Railcard. Friend arriving in like 10mins and I'm still in my tigger PJs.. oh wells .
  18. Mmm yes flipping cold tomorrow! (this is a link - click on me. I am a stupid coloured link. Stupid admin people)Wrap up warm everyone

    Legoland

Alton definitely.. followed by Chessington.. then Legoland. I'm never too impressed by legoland, it doesn't seem to have much atmosphere whether its empty or completely packed.

    I love your... car! :D

  21. I may have to be a sissy myself if the admission staff are.. not very nice people
  22. Ticket queues are for sissys. I'm gonna hope that the gorgeous admissions staff will allow me to stand with all the APers, even though I have a paper ticket!
  23. Our meetup is gonna be very busy and nice compared to SPs one it seems. I'm not even gonna bother with SP this time.At least others wanna do inferno first as well!
  24. I witnessed the most slowest sick cleaning show ever. The music and the useless staff annoyed me so much. Least I made my sick cleaning uber fast when I had to do it - I got cheers!
