Vortex is only ride to make me feel ill as well. Wretched things. X lapbars, I've just got boomerang trains in my head (so, ben10?). Not the most comfortable.. but also don't think they'd fit the track envelope etc anyway.

Like corkscrews lifthill. Which I strangely miss. But vampires lift aint nothing special. Rather it be quieter to please neighbours (and make planning easier in future). It's only the anti-rollbacks anyway.

Dunno, as that part of the park was closed off over feb half term. What they were supposed to do is create a permenant structure underneath the launch - so it won't be a tunnel anymore. We'll find out on saturday though I spose.

What they generally do is make you ride in the summer clothing.. then wrap up warm for a bit, then another go in the cold.. then warm again etc. That's generally what they've done in PR I've been involved in anyway.

I wonder if it struggles so much without any guests on it. There are some rides where no matter how much testing you do with nobody on it, the secon weight gets added to the equasion it dies.

This track just reminds me when I was stuck in the station in 07 whilst they took 15 minutes to clean up the tiniest bit of sick ever. Fifteen bloody minutes of this.

Listening to answers of a PR person (who will only ever put thorpe in a good light) isn't the best example. Pretty obvious from the complete lack of responding to the actual question. Was hoping that this would be sorted, as they've spent a lot of money on a new Project Link.. might not be totally finished yet!

The zone isn't meant to be playing chart music on Vortex/Lost City area.. it's just still broken it seems. As far as I'm aware, the operators have to start announcements to play music.. so I presume Vortex op was just ignoring the PA system unless it was messed.

Where've they stolen chessie music? All I've heard is they've put the 07 station theme back (in all it's awfulness) which then chessie took to use in it's sealife (not tomb)

Investigating the possibility of fastrack backwards doesn't mean they'll actually sell backwards fastrack. Though this is thorpe, I suppose..
