Nemesis: Sub-Terra
Sum up: Needs work doing to it.From guests, the majority who think it's utter balls have gone on thinking it's gonna be a ride and not an experience. Obviously let down, just like the many thousands who were with hex 12yrs ago. The shame.Does need working on it though, hopefully feedback will be taken on board. Then it'll be a nice little filler.

Chessington In The Media
Either that, or it's very marketable because it's new/part of the contract of having this show on park

Definitely my favourite. Creepy rides are the best. Creepy films however...Loving the advert. Seriously loving it.

http://www.thesun.co...-under-12s.htmlWith the experience being 1.4m, it's essentially a 12A anyway.Nice sneak peak of the interior with the artist impression there (the 2nd one).

Alton Towers General Discussion
I'm wondering whether the 4pms will remain 4pms come september. The park is rather quiet, but quiet enough to warrant 4pm over that many days?Very glad it's changed though. Not fussed about summer holidays, they were dead anyway.

Does make me wonder what happened to the so-called operation budget cuts. They have pretty much completely gone away at this park.

Rita Or Rock n' Rollercoaster?
See, I've been saying this all along. Same with Stealth and Rita, I just cannot see any bloody difference between them.

Top 10's
I really need to ride more coasters, but swarm is in the top ten somewhere.I can't make a list. The coasters I've been on are all UK based really (excluding disney), so I feel a berk to put it on here.

Alton Towers General Discussion
I simply cannot believe that people can defend this like it means nothing. It means a lot - to guests, to management, to staff, to revenue, to people turning up in the first place. Why would you turn up on a 4pm when you could go during a weekend for 530pm, or over the holidays with similar closes? 5pms people didn't mind, but 4pm is ridiculous.

Alton Towers markets itself as a national theme park. You'll see towers adverts everywhere. You rarely, if ever, see thorpe adverts (let alone chessington) up here.. purely because they're a local park.It makes a huge difference to a day whether it's 4pm or 5pm. Huge difference. And let's not kid ourselves, the parks aren't as quiet as the old 4pm days. You will get queues longer than 15mins on majority of these days (that's if people turn up after realising the ridiculously short hours).Gives drayton manor a good chance though, their earliest ride close is 430 I believe?

You're making it sound like the park usually makes losses. Oh wait..But that's no excuse for 4pm ride closes. This is ridiculous. Even the smaller independant parks are open longer.

Rant
Wait what? Staff having to get authorisation to have their own days off? I've never heard of that one before!
-
THE SWARM: Left or Right?
Left hand side is more intense - not as intense as nemesis though.Right hand side is amazing with the closeness of water effect and stuff.I cannot judge properly until I've done on more than 3 positions. Wow, a ride which makes you want to ride it and in every seat possible!

Rant
They work on rides. They could totally be on here
-
Alton Towers General Discussion
Yes, but they're minor attractions, and at least the park has a minimum close of 5pm.

Sod that, they shouldn't do fastrack at all on offpeak days. How about doing the simple thing of having reduced hotel prices during that period? Oh wait, they already do.Very miffed about these opening hours, really hope they don't last.
