Hmm.. Maybe The thing is, unlike Thorpe Park which can have up to five rides unavailable at one time, Chessington doesn't and has had excellent ride reliability this year. Rameses has been it's only prolonged downtime so far this year (that has only been 3 days to) so may be a waste of space on the homepage for the majority of the year.

So are you saying we should only respect someone if they have made world peace? Why should I care for anything or anyone if they don't entice tranquility in the world. The thing is, Micheal Jackson bought a hell of a lot of joy into people's lifes and his music videos have inspired two generations of new artists. Regardless of what he done to his image in his later years, it's his music that will always be remembered. And rightly so.
  3. Go on the rapids.. they are very very good rapids. I also like Shockwave and Apoycalpse. Yes Drayton manor isn't spectactular but it's good to get away from Merlin every now and then.

Worst excuse ever... It's only 20.

It's to do with the lap-bar. If you have a larger adult with a smaller child, that lap bar won't be touching the smaller kid and when you consider how much wilder/rough Rattlesnake is compared to other wild mouses, this is obviously something that could cause injury to the small kid.
  6. No comment :PRameses Revenge has joined Griffins Galleon on the unavailable ride list. Now that should definitly be on the website.

Lift hill easyEveryone's a little bit racist or If you were gay ?
  9. Good point. On the other hand.. having operated Griffins for some time and sometimes going hours without seeing a single person at the ride I don't think many people are complaining that it's not on the website..
  10. Mystery Shoppers are guests who come into the park and evaluate how the parks performing. You get them in basically every area of business, I had them at Tesco when I worked there as well.Just to let you guys know, Griffins Galleon has been down since Friday and may be down this week as well.
  11. Juggling a job, education, moderation of the forum and the website as well as all the social things that we do means we do forget about warn stuff. If it's at 20% it really is nothing to be concerned about.
  12. Outfit gave the basic queuelengths but here's a few more. It will be busy at Vampire and Fury straight away (w're talking 30-45 minute queues for both) so instead head to the other rides such as Bubbleworks, Runaway Train, Rattlesnake, Tomb Blaster and Dragon Falls. At around 12 yesterday, Fury's queue dropped to 20 minutes so thats the best time to get on that. Chessie hasn't been that busy really recently so it's easy to get quite a few rides done.
  13. School trips started last month, however there will be a lot more of them from the 1st July - 17th.
  14. It isn't the platformers fault that the parents have ignored all the signage, the height sticks and queueline announcements though. Ride staff are just doing their job.

The more the ride runs, the warmer the wheels and barings in the car get so yeah it does tend to be a bit more spinny in the afternoon then in the morning. It's the same on Spinball Whizzer.

What do you suggest. E-stopping the rapids isn't going to bring those guys down. You can do PA announcements but how exactly is that going to get them down when they are already up there. It's all very well saying the ride operator should act on it but with the nature of the rapids, what can you realistically do in those situations.

This doesn't completely ruin Amity Cove as the area has been on the down for years now.

Can people stop trying to tell people what to do in posts. If you have a problem with something report it to a member of the admin team please. This Nemesis/Nemesis Inferno thing is silly and pedantic anyway, Rossafc did it to me in the Black Mamba topic for instance. It's pretty obvious what I was talking about.
  19. Nemesis....That is why I put NEMESIS in my post. If I was to say Nemesis Inferno I would have either written Nemesis Inferno or Inferno..And themeparkmad, it's 100 times better then Vampire's station in its current state.
  20. Ooh, I've been on it. Awesome ride to be honest, the station is absolutely top notch, one of the best in Europe. Not as good as Nemesis but then.. what is?
  21. It takes a very special person to drive past TWO junctions to Chessington....
  22. Mark9 replied to Sheepie's topic in UK Attractions
Spinball was 45 minute queue today lol. Walk on for the better ride is something I fully agree with.

I don't need to be wetter then.. I just don't like the idea of it on Tidal Wave.
  24. Mark9 replied to Ash's topic in General Discussion
Err.. no, When guests to go theme parks they expect all rides to be open all day.
  25. X

Agreed. Ironically, I enjoy no way out far more then Colossus, Stealth and Saw which is a slightly odd view but it's one I take with pride
