Mitchada04
Thought this would be a nice topic to discuss this company that post loads of Facebook (and because it's hard to guarantee at first what they're working on). But for those that don't know, Scruffy Dog is a theming company based in Birmingham. Their first project that got us lot knowing of them was the Shark structure at Thorpe. Since then they've done a lot of work with Merlin working on the FN mazes, IAC, hotel interiors at Chessington, some stuff for the Woodland Village at Towers, new sets for Lego City and Heartlake City. Here's some of the Lego stuff in their paint workshop. MBV And Shark So they've done quite a lot of work for Merlin and a lot of good work. The centrepiece now in the Dome is done by them. They're definitely a company to watch. They also recently did this for a school library section. But what's more interesting is how they post stuff they're developing but can't say what it is or who for. Like this "Some exciting visuals being produced in the studio today for a leading attraction. Stay tuned!" Anyway, today they posted about what they're currently working on for Halloween. First guesses are it is for Chessington's Trick Or Treat Woods maze new for this year. All very exciting! But yes, this is definitely a company to watch (especially as they do so much for are parks already) Kerfuffle, JoshuaA, JoshC. and 2 others

Matt 236
The stuff these guys do is highly interesting and a lot of it at all the park's is very good. Can't wait to see what theming they do for the merlin parks this Halloween.
JoshC.
Nice topic idea - Scruffy deserve some more recognition! I've been following them for over a year now on social media, and I can honestly say everything they've done, no matter what the size, looks beautiful. The quality of their theming is brilliant, and hopefully they can continue to expand and grow and be able to do more stuff. From what I understand, the company are very good with set pieces and stationary theming, but have little experience with incorporating special effects into what they do. I would love to see them develop into a company which could also work on special effects and putting that into their theming themselves; the possibilities of what they could then do would be limitless! SteveJ
There are loads of nice design studios like this, this is one of the smaller, younger ones but clearly have good connections with Merlin (probably because they're a million times cheaper than their own studio) and are hot on social media. Always nice props from this team
Kerfuffle
To be honest, I actually didn't know Scruffy Dog were involved in Heartlake City at Legoland until I saw their van parked outside the service building a couple of weeks before opening!
