October 9, 200915 yr comment_72343 Surrender is a rubish name for SW6, however, I understand that it is dificult to come up with an uncheezy won.
October 9, 200915 yr comment_72344 It still hasn't been confirmed that "Surrender" is it's name. If it is I will be dissapointed, I don't feel it has the impact it should like, Oblivion or Nemesis. Also, one spelt "won"... Are you kidding me?
October 10, 200915 yr comment_72439 It still hasn't been confirmed that "Surrender"When has the Roller Coaster DataBase ever been wrong? - http://www.rcdb.com/4463.htm

October 12, 200915 yr comment_72739 When has the Roller Coaster DataBase ever been wrong? Not very often but they do make mistakes, They started off saying Saw had 4 inversions, and also it says Nemesis' G-force is 3 ( which would be the same as Air's... ) which is wrong as it's 4.Also, if the lift is like The Hulk's at IOA, that would be fantastic as that is pretty brilliant. This ride just keeps looking better and better.

I think it's just a normal speed lift hill, such as on Tami-Tami at Port Aventura. http://www.rcdb.com/763.htm?p=19983
October 12, 200915 yr comment_72744 ... Or X:\ No Way Out! never thought of that.it would be quite cool if it was a launch hill though.also another strange thing is intamin have never used liner wheels on there coasters.
October 12, 200915 yr comment_72763 I personally hope they can come up with a better name than Surrender. Can't wait to see progress during Adreniline week.
October 12, 200915 yr comment_72764 Agree completely!Whilst it's not a bad name, it's not good enough IMO.I will also be going during Adrenaline week and at the rate there going at the moment, there will be a lot for us to look at!
October 14, 200915 yr comment_72957 Sorry to double post, as I said, rcdb does , very occasionally get things wrong, and they did jump the gun with the name situation. The page is now back to saying "unknown" as you can see hereIt may still be called Surrender, but I'm glad that at the moment we can think it's not
October 14, 200915 yr comment_73000 we may not hear the name till opening day, that would be quite cool!
October 16, 200915 yr comment_73359 Pictures of the forest part of the ride are now available. In my opinion this looks absolutely unbelieveable!Towers TimesThanks to TowersTimes

October 17, 200915 yr comment_73530 The most likely, IMO, thing the world first will be is... Basically inside the building, the train goes onto a piece of track which then does vertical movements like an elevator although obviously a lot sharper and quicker, I also think there'll be special effects and audio whilst in the building. Hopefully I've explained that quite clearly, but I agree with you MonsterDan I think this coaster looks like a standalone coaster, not even looking at the fact it's a world first :)If you look at some construction pictures, the train enters the building, and it exits it about 8/10 meters below, going backwards. So I think the above sounds the most likely.
October 18, 200915 yr comment_73666 I've just posted these pics of the construction and can't be bothered to do it again but if you want to see the pictures heres a link! Photo's!
October 19, 200915 yr comment_73695 Great pictures there.I did'nt relise that lift would be that tall
October 20, 200915 yr comment_73817 This was on another forum a few days ago, to show what it may look like with SW6 in place. Now, I'm thinking that if this is accurate, and to scale, that having that station so close to Rita would have to result in a Retheme. Having those two conflicting themes would be a travesty, and would really let the park down.
October 20, 200915 yr comment_73821 I agree, as has been mentioned in other places, unlike Air and Nemesis, these 2 themes are too close and too different to be that close to each other and I think Rita will definitely be getting a re-theme and hopefully the amount of theming it should have had when it first opened.I also agree with WhiteKnuckle that when seeing those pictures at first, I had almost forgotten there was going to be a main lift and I too surprised me how tall it was.
October 24, 200915 yr comment_74253 I really like the name Mortalis which has been talked about on TowersTimes. It has a real mythological feel about it. Mortalis is also the name of a book about Demons, this would fit in with the "ride the demon" which is displayed on the advertising posters across the park.EDIT: I'm probably looking into this far too much, but after typing 'Mortalis' into Google, and then clicking on page 6, (SW6), the first article says "Into the Woods". Coincidence or not?
