Sebastian96
Stealth doesn't need a loop and I can hardly see Thorpe ever putting one in as Stealth still draws many people without a loop so you might as well stop hoping
tpman
Stealth doesn't need a loop and I can hardly see Thorpe ever putting one in as Stealth still draws many people without a loop so you might as well stop hoping I was never 'hoping', I was just saying how I'd prefure it with a loop the loop. It is clearly a consept that would never be instaled on the ride.
treeis
I would be quite pleased if Stealth had a loop. I know its never going to happen, but the loop is my favoriot inversion and would look quite nice where the bunny hop is.
stealth888
Woah, a loop on Stealth?!?Thats crazy! Many first timers are scared of the height and acceleration, let alone a loop to go with it!I think that if it did have a loop, it would only attract thrill seekers like us who have been on it a zillion times. We take it for granted now but just think backto how scared you were first time on it. I nearly chickened out after waiting nearly 3 hours first time I went on it.But I think maybe a small overbank-turn at the end would be pretty cool. Ricky
Supposedly, from what I heard, Stealth was originally going to have the same layout as Accelerator.
Whiteknuckle
Join Stealth and Rita together. That would be good
Sebastian96
Stealth:-Queen of speed As Ricky said I thought it was originally planned to have a similiar layout to Accelerator aswell!
Ricky
Very good idea whiteknuckle! I would enjoy that ride a lot, I dont like Rita much as it hurts my ear at the end of the launch.
Jake C
yep it was going to have the same layout as xcell. apparently it wold of been 2mill more to do it, they dident think that the overbanks were very exciting. look at this though http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2b6OaI0BXM 100mph test, now that would be wicked
Jamie W
Yes, it is indeed true. However, I dont think the overbanks would be very exciting, though I would have liked to have seen the proposed grandstand.
James6
I think everyone wished that grandstand would have been built. In my opinion they possibly should have done a sort of compromise of what we have now and what the original plan was, maybe 1 over bank and an airtime hill. StevenVig
Stealth is fine as it is.
Marc
The grand stand would have looked nice, but nasty to queue in I expect.
Johnny07
Silly me if everyone saw this at the ERT yesterday, but stealth has smoke once again. Go Go Go!
Marc
That was not on yesterday.
Ricky
Right I was getting to the stealth smoke, Shehzad, who is also a bit dedicated to his job, has tried fixing the stealth smoke, unfortunately only one side works at present! ( And Marc, just to add the smoke was on, on saturday but it was barely visible to the eye, ask ryan!)EDIT: Just found out that stealth smoke is now on both sides and thick
TPMSam
EDIT: Just found out that stealth smoke is now on both sides and thick That's good that went really well with fright nights last year because after the first cart went the second one come foward through it it looked good and scary
Ricky
Not 30 minutes ago I drove past THORPE PARK and Stealth was illuminated in green lights, which I don't normally see. Possibly for fright nights?
Paul
Sounds good. If it is going to be lit up, that will look good behind the illuminated flame of Tidal.
James6
I always remember Stealth at the Fright Nights 2005 and the track had a sort of running lights around the track and it looked unbelievable. I've always wondered why they changed it.
Rich
James, the lights you were on about were called moving head lights. They were situated in the Stealth Plaza Area to get the right effect and it was a big promotion for it during FN 2005. Yes it looked good, I hope it would come back, but it probably wouldn't, those lights are by no means cheap...
Jake C
stealth was down today. I think it will be fine for the weekend though, I hope its open for all of fright nights. I would marry it in the dark such a grate atmosphere.
TPMSam
I reckon they have started preparing the rides for Fright Nights
