Thanks Jax your super useful. So the crane yesterday may not of been relevant to Stealth? I know it's a very complex ride to work on and apparently Intamin won't support the current accelerator model so I'd imagine that Thrope are having a hard time at the moment. I guess it could be one reason to not to do business with Intamin in the future if that's the case. I definitely think they should support Thorpe since they manufactured the ride so it's a rather sad story. I could only think that the part they need could have to be custom made and then authorized by Intamin to be used on the ride which I guess is a long process.

The accumulator issue was what closed it before (when it was closed on Passholder Day). The issue currently is to do with the launch system itself, and as far as we know right now, is currently waiting for a part to arrive so they can fit it. As well as that they'd also need time to test it thoroughly and make sure everything is ready for operation again. I'd imagine it'd be back open within the next 2 weeks, if not the end of the month. They may have it ready for May half term but your guess is as good as mine currently. Hope this helps

Thanks Jax that's interesting. So they must actively be working on it. I'm not entirely sure what's up with Stealth because I keep hearing mixed rumors. I've heard from somebody it's a launch cable needs replacing. But then I've read elsewhere that it's something to do with the accumulators for the launch or the pressure not building up for the launch. Either way Stealth is my favourite ride and and I'm going Tuesday so I'm trying to stay optimistic that it will open but I have my doubts. Does anybody know exactly what is wrong with Stealth? I can only think the launch mechanism as It's been down for a while. Thanks to everybody though for sharing your views because they are super useful :)

SAW's station now has a brand new pre-boarding video on the TV. No longer loops Rules Of The Game like it used to.

There was a small red crane in the plaza yesterday and the launch bunker doors were open

Just got back from first trip to Europa. Wow. Where to start. Stayed in hotel Colleseio which was impressive, and to be honest a strange experience in itself that such a lavish hotel was linked to a theme park. 3 days on park and 1 day Rulantica.   The aesthetics of the park are incredible, it’s impossible not to feel the passion and pride that the Mack family have for their park. Everywhere you look it’s packed with hidden gems and is fresh, vibrant and visually stunning. More so, even after 3 days I know there’s so much more to discover, and the rich theming throughout really does elevate this park. The ride selection is second to none. I went for the coasters, but fell in love with the dark rides! Pirates detail was impressive, but live all the little hidden gems throughout the park. In terms of the biggies. Voltron was my no1 followed by Wodan and Silver Star, but also really enjoyed blue fire, the last inversion really something. Heard people talking up the ops for years, and was always questioning why people went on about them so much. Well not any more! Absolute perfection and efficiency. So obvious that the park is all about guest experience, the no nonsense approach in the stations is so refreshing to see, and keeps the queues down to sub 20 even on popular rides on a fairly busy day! Overall can’t wait to get back, going to be hard to find a park to top the all round package that Europa provides, yes there’s parks with better coasters etc, but it’s the combo of the selection of rides, theming, cleanliness, food and beverage offerings and most of all OPERATIONS! If you havent been. Get out there!!

stealth being closed, it's no longer the star, this closure is dragging, the king is no more what will happen, the clues are near, in staffordshire, corners no more money is short, but launches are fast, and if ben and jerrys will be sold, then we need to fix the old 3... 2... 1... oh, oh, no!

I had ultimate FastTrack a couple weeks back and I had a few front row and back row rides throughout the day. They normally let FastTrack through pretty instantly regardless of how many people are on the stairs, it’s random and depends on the host so I wouldn’t really worry too much about it.

Wow - that came out of the blue. I love the waterside location, and it’s cool to see it could be different to anything they’ve done before. An interesting choice of location however given how poorly the other parks have done in the area, not to mention Disney’s values and focus on inclusivity. Still. It’s very exiting to see Disney spending so much money on their parks again recently. This could very well end up being the cheaper option to visit from the UK compared with a trip to Orlando (although you wouldn’t have all the neighbouring parks of course). And it would also open up a great Disney stopover for people flying to Europe from Asia and Australia. Good news for DLP and Universal GB.

Disney and Miral just announced a brand new resort park in Abu Dhabi. Looks like they have gone down a different route and are doing something different to the usual castle park(judging by the concept art) Disney and Miral Announce New Seventh Theme Park Planned for Abu Dhabi Disney Announces Plans for New Theme Park and Resort with Miral in Abu Dhabi

Park's closed today so whether the part has arrived or not yet and they're fitting it as speak is a possibility.

I'm thinking of buying an ultimate plus fast track and riding hyperia all day. The only thing that worries me is missing out on front row every time. I think this will happen because of the way the staircase is always filled with main queue after dealing with access and fast track. Then I turn up in fast track and irrespective of how much the staircase has moved, I'll keep joining that same point. I estimate 30 people fill the stairs, 20 to a train so I'll keep ending up on middle row give or take. Would it be selfish to let a few people past me up to a certain point (1/3 up the stairs) to stand a chance at front row once go's? Has anyone ever worked out the staircase capacity relative to the row positions?

At least they stated what's going on instead of flat out saying ''it's closed'' Hopefully back up soon but probably won't be going for a little bit after my next visit in a couple of days.
-
Ha no worries! Yes nothing at all from Stealth again today. A member of staff stated it’s awaiting a part. Hopefully it’ll be back in the next few weeks
-
Just realised that... my mate runs that account so he'll be getting words off me lol
-
That’s from the @Thorpepork account. Not Thorpe’s official twitter
-
Thorpe themselves.... Whether they ditched it last minute and thus no action or whatever, I don't know.
-
Where did you hear this? It’s not looking like it will.
-
Wait apparently Stealth was gonna open today...
-
Skyride is down today. Staff saying it will 'hopefully open later' which is no good once I've already walked to the other side of the park 😒 Edit: Also, it's very sad to see Toxicator's queueline scratched-up with graffiti.
-
For sure! Hopefully it’ll be back within the next few weeks

Add in customs faff too. But means the influencers can up their views a bit by creating "OMG PANICK" videos.

If only Thorpe had an Argos type catalogue and sent for the part by Royal Mail 1st Class
