I got a bit excited and thought that picture you sent was it testing lol

Ah right, that’s interesting 😊

That was there on Thursday when I went

Hi Jax, there’s some kind of red machine there today and they have closed off all the ride area for now. I suppose it’s a great move forward but I’m clueless to what there actually doing. I feel like it won’t be too long until they’ll have her up and running. I’ve uploaded an image.

I wouldn't be too sure. They just stick random dates there. What's the availability like after that?
-
The app has one shot Fastrack available for Stealth from 1st June onwards - maybe hints at the expected timescale?

Anybody know the full list of tunes played in the Detonator queue line?

Thanks Josh, great news to hear!

I did a Hyperia coaster climb this evening. There was some chatter when it was made live about the cost being expensive (£120). It is, no beating around the bush. But it is worth it. My experience was about 3hrs all in, and included lots of time spent scaling the ride, time spent in the console and time spent around the turnaround outside the station, with lots of opportunities for photos, fabulous hosts and a great vibe. Find attached a variety of photos (of me). I'll write a proper TPM article later.

Good to see there's a bit of action going on (albeit small) but at least we know there's something going on.

Rhythmos started following The Swarm logo

Hey all 😄 Does anybody happen to have a high-res copy of The Swarm’s triangle logo? (Or a clear photograph?)

Ah glad to hear! That wasn’t there on Tuesday at all. The doors to the launch weren’t open either.

Just to make it clear, Intamin have in no way stopped providing support for their Accelerators. Whilst it's true they don't offer the model any more (or at least, no one has considered doing so for over a decade), it in no way means they've washed their hands of it. Thorpe/Merlin and Intamin maintain a respectable working relationship, and that is also related to the current issue(s).
-
Thanks, I'm probably guessing with Stealth that it's a quite big sophisticated part that's gone wrong maybe hence the crane unless it was for something to do with the track. At least we know that Thorpe won't be giving up on their ride though. I'm sure we all know that an LSM launch just isn't really anything quite like a hydraulic launch. I do prefer that massive g force

Thanks again Jax, brilliant advice

The crane yesterday was in the middle of the Stealth plaza facing towards the top hat, so it may well have been. I wouldn't be surprised if the support for these older models is more limited now but I'd be surprised if Intamin providing no support at all. You'd be right in saying that the part needs to be sourced elsewhere, but hopefully it shouldn't be too long now.

Thanks Jax your super useful. So the crane yesterday may not of been relevant to Stealth? I know it's a very complex ride to work on and apparently Intamin won't support the current accelerator model so I'd imagine that Thrope are having a hard time at the moment. I guess it could be one reason to not to do business with Intamin in the future if that's the case. I definitely think they should support Thorpe since they manufactured the ride so it's a rather sad story. I could only think that the part they need could have to be custom made and then authorized by Intamin to be used on the ride which I guess is a long process.

The accumulator issue was what closed it before (when it was closed on Passholder Day). The issue currently is to do with the launch system itself, and as far as we know right now, is currently waiting for a part to arrive so they can fit it. As well as that they'd also need time to test it thoroughly and make sure everything is ready for operation again. I'd imagine it'd be back open within the next 2 weeks, if not the end of the month. They may have it ready for May half term but your guess is as good as mine currently. Hope this helps

Thanks Jax that's interesting. So they must actively be working on it. I'm not entirely sure what's up with Stealth because I keep hearing mixed rumors. I've heard from somebody it's a launch cable needs replacing. But then I've read elsewhere that it's something to do with the accumulators for the launch or the pressure not building up for the launch. Either way Stealth is my favourite ride and and I'm going Tuesday so I'm trying to stay optimistic that it will open but I have my doubts. Does anybody know exactly what is wrong with Stealth? I can only think the launch mechanism as It's been down for a while. Thanks to everybody though for sharing your views because they are super useful :)

SAW's station now has a brand new pre-boarding video on the TV. No longer loops Rules Of The Game like it used to.

There was a small red crane in the plaza yesterday and the launch bunker doors were open

Just got back from first trip to Europa. Wow. Where to start. Stayed in hotel Colleseio which was impressive, and to be honest a strange experience in itself that such a lavish hotel was linked to a theme park. 3 days on park and 1 day Rulantica.   The aesthetics of the park are incredible, it’s impossible not to feel the passion and pride that the Mack family have for their park. Everywhere you look it’s packed with hidden gems and is fresh, vibrant and visually stunning. More so, even after 3 days I know there’s so much more to discover, and the rich theming throughout really does elevate this park. The ride selection is second to none. I went for the coasters, but fell in love with the dark rides! Pirates detail was impressive, but live all the little hidden gems throughout the park. In terms of the biggies. Voltron was my no1 followed by Wodan and Silver Star, but also really enjoyed blue fire, the last inversion really something. Heard people talking up the ops for years, and was always questioning why people went on about them so much. Well not any more! Absolute perfection and efficiency. So obvious that the park is all about guest experience, the no nonsense approach in the stations is so refreshing to see, and keeps the queues down to sub 20 even on popular rides on a fairly busy day! Overall can’t wait to get back, going to be hard to find a park to top the all round package that Europa provides, yes there’s parks with better coasters etc, but it’s the combo of the selection of rides, theming, cleanliness, food and beverage offerings and most of all OPERATIONS! If you havent been. Get out there!!
