I saw this too, I dont think they usually do a summer advert and as you say by filming Depth Charge and rumba rapids it sounds like the advert will try and appeal to all. Looking forward to seeing this actually!

Assuming they are filming on ride shots the trains will need to be taken off for a short while to attach / detach the camera equipment possibly!

Stealths a firm favourite of mine, the ride its self is great, the launch whilst obviously not as special as it was when I first rode is still pretty amazing, and the general atmosphere around the ride I find great, theres always such a build up of excitement around the area.

I dont think regarding the press it will make much difference, rides somtimes appear in the press (Rush for example) and are able to run after without anyone worrying about its safety. As you say the rides getting old, but I doubt this once incident will make a great deal of difference to its future.

Agree with this (And renamed topic appropriately!) My first visit was in 2011 and I was pretty impressed, security were good as you said and the park looked clean and presentable. Looking forward to going up to check out whats changed since too

I cant see them replacing the whole ride because of this, restraints are somthing which are often replaced anyway (they just will be earlier than planned!!) as for the problem with the ride, it will no doubt be cheaper to fix than replace the entire thing!

When I went last Friday it wasnt quiet but it was far from busy. 30/40 min queues on the main coasters maybe, the parks open till 6 so you will have plenty of time to get on everything quite easily too Have a good time!

To be fair, its a massive project and all new hardware and software, things are bound to go wrong time to time. No they really don't! Queue times are worked out by juding where the queue ends or handing a guest a bit of paper with the time who then hands it in when they ride.

It is a brand new, complicated system. Give them a chance to get them working!

As with all new things, they can not work properly at first! I'm sure once fully up and running they will bring great benefits.

We have rearranged some of the forums as you will notice to tidy things up slightly. Where we can we've removed Sub Forums as these are often quiet and forgotten about and we now have more emphasis on Thorpe Park, as we are Thorpe Park Mania after-all!
