  1. They wouldn't be able to buy it, it has a public footpath through the middle of the Thorpe Waterski and Thorpe Park.
  2. Lol Will I'm guessing you're not too clued up on how infilling works are you? The ground is removed from one area next to a lake, and moved to create a land extension elsewhere. Also, flood into a lake?! How do you propose that happens The lake behind Nemesis Inferno is the Thorpe Waterski and doesn't belong to Merlin.
  3. Building over the water would be great but realisticly couldn't happen, especially a flying coaster over water because B&M will not build on water unless its a drainable pool (eg. the Hulk @ IOA.)They could also continue to infill but there is the problem that the water you infill, has to go somewhere else, and there aren't that many places around that they can flood, because the farm isn't particularly big and is an ideal storage space for stuff they don't need.
  4. Merlin attractions take 14 days to give you a yes or no.
  5. Okay we really need to sort this idea out, I know its only peoples ideas and stuff but Rameses Revenge is only going to be going to one place after CWOA - the scrap yard. As for Fungles space, I want a family ride and I don't care if the park is a thrills park, I still want one.
  6. Its still a good mile away according to the signs.
  7. You haven't been following the 2009 Season topic have you?

Or until we know what the Alton coaster actually is
  9. Answer to question 3 cos Dan is useless It's usually meet up, take a group photo, decide on a ride then the group seems to split up into smaller groups.
  10. Some info >> here << about Work Experience for Chessington (mainly how to enquire about it).

  12. Ohh I see. If I'll only be paying £32 for a wristband and no other charges at BPB then I think thats reasonable. Its cheaper than Thorpe still and it has a better selection of rides in my opinion.
  13. I think they've done enough storyline revealing with the videos. Obviously there is more to it that we'd like to know but I would like to find that out on the ride, not Youtube.

Probably just a traffic accident, that has happened to be directly outside Thorpe Park.
  15. Hes renewing a Thorpe Park AP, not a Merlin one. I too wish they were all that cheap!
  16. When was the last time you saw Slammer in your local fair?

Yeah I saw the last hour of Nanny McPhee yesterday too. I'd never seen it before but I rather enjoyed what I saw.I also watched Fort Boyard at 5am and Who Wants to Be A Millionaire at 6am.Yes I haven't slept tonight. *Collapses on keyboard*.
  18. I went in 2007 (corrr seems like yesterday now), and we paid £22 for a one day wristband, and no other costs.

I like how the Gardaland topic has over 10,000 views but only 12 posts
  20. Blackpool Pleasure Beach closing would be a right shame, it houses some notable history for the UK in the form of rollercoasters over 100 years old.Could someone please clear this up for me coz I'm a bit confused. You now have to pay to get into BPB and to go on the rides?!
  21. I meant italian. I just didn't put effort into thinking about their language when I posted that .
  22. Gardaland are rethemeing their Vekoma Double Loop Corkscrew, Magic Mountain for 2009.The coaster will be called Bigfoot, and will have a new theme, a new logo and new Vekoma trains with new style restraints. For anybody who can read German, an article can be found here.
  23. Yeah I'd agree with that tbh. Even looking at the front of the building you can tell its impressive. I love the fire effects and how it actually simulates hot and cold during the journey into Valhalla. The weird 3-headed dogs were slightly creepy though but I still found Valhalla an unusual and interesting experience. Especially when they could have just made it a normal water flume with a backwards drop (I.e Stormforce 10). Phwoaar. Exactly how I feel about Infusion there Mark. Infusion has been Blackpools latest addition for quite a while now and even though the water fountains and stuff are there and its rated quite highly by the public, they could have done so much better than a hand-me-down coaster from an hour down the motorway. None-the-less it is nice to see them actually adding new rides, and Infusion is definatly one that has benefited the park, as its a 'thrill-seekers coaster' rather than a woodie etc.Blackpool is definatly one park I would not like to see go into decline and I really hope it doesn't.
