I really fail to understand why people complain about how bad and painful Colossus is yet they still ride it, it makes no sense to me.I also think Colossus would benefit from new trains, maybe with some lighter restraints and easier loading. I don't know how they'd go about doing it but I really would suggest they try to quieten Colossus down a bit, it's insanely loud now, especially around the cobra roll. Sand filled supports maybe?

It wasn't necessarily stuck, engineers can control it to stop anywhere they want it stopped
  5. Tbh it sounds like a better day than I had, although we saw Nemesis's queue at 70 minutes and Detonator at 50 but what the hey. I would post a full trip report but my group ended up arguing and I buggered off home :PNemesis Inferno x1X:/ No Way Out x1Loggers Leap x1Banana x1Rocky Express x1Flying Fish x1Rumba x1Teacups x2Lame.
  6. It's really not good when all the compliments to Thorpe are about its staff, and barely ANY are about its themeing, reliabilty, rides and park presentation :PIt's very good that the staff get recognition but really there is so much more to having a good park than just good staff.
  7. Yeah Ewans awesome, has his own Facebook Appreciation Group It's nice to see staff members get recognition for doing their job brilliantly.

The Saw idea will get tedious eventually, you just have to watch peoples faces on Stealth to know that it still has the fear factor and it will always provide a fantastic thrill. I think Stealth is better anyway so I'm quite happy for Saw to be getting all the attention while I ride Stealth to my hearts content!
  9. Isn't it a Gecko? Either way I think it probably moved because now the queue reaches the entrance thanks to the fastrack merge point, its just gonna soak people there in the queue. (I'm not sure why that would matter because its a wet ride but not many people seem to have common sense )

You just reminded me of the all the little chavlets that go round Thorpe Park with tutu's and bright green and yellow leggings with fairy wings and think they're being original when they look like utter tools.

  16. Seriously? I did not know that :blink:Sorrys, I haven't played RCT3 in years, much prefer RCT2
  17. There is already a Slammer type ride in RCT3, go into Thrill Rides and look for the Sky Swat. I have no clue about Rush though.
  18. Even if they are employing cleaners, I doubt these cleaners are going to be climbing up 100ft supports to get oil off them It could probably be done with a cherry picker and jet washer though.I would like to see Flying Fish themed into Amity Cove properly, with it actually going round bits of buildings that the Tidal Wave has destroyed and derelict junk everywhere like the Tidal Wave queue. If not they should at least theme it into Neptunes Kingdom and not with a crazy surfer dude.
  19. James replied to Artie's topic in The Past
Slammer could well reopen tomorrow, we don't know how bad this shutdown was but at least it didn't start by getting stuck upside down

It tested at about 6.30pm yesterday, I'm sure it will be testing today as well.

Marc, Saw's plaza made about as much noise as my pet Dodo today.
  23. James replied to humjosh's topic in General Discussion
Just a quick message to say Colossus' Please stand clear announcement and whispers are now back on the ride.
  24. James replied to humjosh's topic in General Discussion
The plaza speakers are broken (End of Day theme was played at a volume the speakers could never handle). God knows when they'll be fixed. Its now 3 hours instead of 45 minutes, it has 50 songs instead of 20 and it contains all the original talking sections that used to play in 2006.

I am pleased to announce that Stealths new WWTP loop is now back in operation! *cheers!*
