  1. It was because of the people that I was with why my day was not ruined.I really did expect alot better considering I was at Chessington & Zoo and not Thorpe Park!
  2. I am glad I was not the only one who relised that!
  3. Some chavs gave some sarcastic comments in the queue line and had someone else state it whilst walking around the park. They wern't rude with what they said but you just know how they were implying (sp?) it was rude.I would never expect that from a place that I visit so often and that I love. (Chessington). However, that little thing was not going to ruin my day and I continued as normal!
  4. Obviously, I am not used to this as I live in Brighton but I was really shocked to have comments said to my face on my last visit to Chessington in Dragon's Fury queue line.It did not really bother me as I felt safe with the person who I was with but it felt a bit weird to be honest.
  5. Mint Chocolate Chip for me

Just don't let anyone go pass you in the queue line.I usually always say to people that you are queue jumping and you can be removed from the park for this so you need to go back. And usually they do. (Thank God! )FastrackFastrack is also good if you get really bored in a queue easily
  7. I don't know whether it is intentionally there or not but I think I have seen it on Bubbleworks all of this season on my visits to Chessington & Zoo.But I agree with you Ricky that it gives the ride a better atmosphere when dropping into the Fountain Finale.

Don't hate me but...I agree with Fastrack 100%.I think it is good that you can pay for the privelidge (sp?) to Fastrack a Ride and / or Attraction. However, I think if that the Fastrack of Extreme and Accelerator increases over £9. Then they will be taking the p**s.Ultimate FastrackI honestly agree with the Ultimate Fastrack system. This is great for a once a year / once every two year treat. I do that that £60 is rediculous as I would have thought £50 would have been more than enough considering the amount of money Thorpe Park probably make on Fastrack alone. It is a personal choice whether people purchase Fastrack on their visit(s) to Thorpe Park.

I watched it for about half an hour while I was eating my dinner.I agree. It is really good.
  10. I also agree!I went on Detonator and never again! However, I would go on it for a minamum of £50
  11. Went to Chessington & Zoo yesterday (6th July) with Jess and Steve. (Jezzerz and tpbabz on TPM).The first ride we headed over to was Vampire! Vampire was vertually a walk on front row. (Was the 2nd train of the day). The park was quite busy. However, we advoided the school groups hitting the same sort of areas at once so we did not have to queue much really. :DVampire - 30 minsDragon's Fury - 40 minsSeastorm - 0 minsHocus Pocus Hall - 0 minsBlack Buccaneer - 0 minsRodger the Dodgers Dodgems (Was busy but then went later on and was a walk on!)Rameses Revenge - 20 minsTomb Blaster - 5 mins (Mainly Walk on).Bubbleworks - 20 mins (Then went to just queueing in the station).Safari Skyway - 0 minsRattlesnake - 15 minsVertually all the rides we went on at least three times! :PAlso, for me was my first ride ever on Rameses Revenge thanks to Steve forcing me on it! :DOmg! - That is all I can say in responce to Rameses Revenge.I hate it but I love it also now. (If that makes sense to some of you!)We ended up on the last train of Vampire of the day! :DA GREAT DAY!

I also thought it was £50 at the start of the 2009 season.

Do not jump on me if you don't approve of Fastrack as this is my opinion.I always try to advoid Fastrack where ever possible when I visit Thorpe Park. However, I don't visit Thorpe Park often unfortunately and I am prepared to pay £9 for a Fastrack if it is going to approve my day out.Ultimate FastrackI have only ever purchased one Ultimate Fastrack at Thorpe Park which was last season. However, I am planning to purchase one during the Fright Night events providing they are not sold out before I get there!I think Ultimates are worth purchasing once every season at a maxamum at Thorpe due to the high price for them per person.

I would hope so too! :)And Yes, You do get Stealth Pole Position if anyone is still unsure!
  17. True. - Some people need to use there eye's more I say! Also, A lot of ride hosts and operators tell you whether verbal or through PA.e.g.Runaway Train (PA) - "Lift up your bars carefully and exit to the right hand side. Thank you for riding on the Runaway Train. Please make sure you take all your personal belongings with you."Dragon's Fury (Verbal) - "Lift your bars up and exit this side for me please"(Obviously announcements vary per worker!)
  18. That is amazing!

Rush has been on 1 swing for the last four days now. This is because the cables for the first swing closest to the control box have been replaced.
  20. I would have hated it too.The music is what gives the ride atmosphere. (IMO).
  21. I am going to Chessington again on Monday 6th July.Unlike my last trip which was a father - son day out :)I am going with Steve and Jess. (Known as tpkabz and Jezzerz).Should be an amazing trip! :)The only bad side is that Seb and Kara will not be working
  22. In My Opinion, Imperial Leather Bubbleworks is really good! Sure I enjoyed the nutty Professor but I still really enjoy IL Bubbleworks. The ride layout is vertually the same as Professor Burp's Bubbleworks (IMO).I would queue for Imperial Leather Bubbleworks - 30 mins. The highest queue I have seen for IL Bubbleworks is 60 mins.Bubbleworks usually always has a queue above 20 mins. I have also seen plenty of times Bubbleworks having a larger queue than Vampire! Hope this helps

I love the sun!But I will say...Rainy Day (Only because usually the park is less busy imo).2 rides on Tidal Wave or 1 ride on Loggers Leap?
  24. themeparkmad replied to AHW's topic in Quick Questions
Maybe it is me reading this wrong but...Ultimate Fastracks are only valid for the day of purchase. You can't buy one and use it again when you return on another visit. All Ultimate Fastrack wristbands and tickets are dated on the day of purchase.
