Oh yes - even the Muller ads on normal national TV are good, because they still use the same music.

Peeking Heights
It was where Sumo Bungee is now (to the right in that above picture of Peeking Heights). It's better at Chessington and looks better - when Samurai was there that section of Mystic East used to get really busy, but not anymore.

Park Music
This is the park-wide audio system, yeah? And where is it run from in the park?

SAW: The Ride
That body is the worst thing on Saw. So cheap and horrible, and you can tell it's a last minute add-on. They could have at least put some blades that poke up from the ground or through the wall during construction.

Best Sound Of Thorpe Park
That squeaking. Hehe.I love that "release" sound your hear when Samurai's ride is over and after it's found it's docking position, it lowers itself to the platform, stopping and starting quickly. As for Saw, I also love standing underneath the loop in the caged bit when a car comes down the drop - nice wind!

Random
I was walking up Guildford High Street yesterday, and if I'd have been a little further on, I'd have actually seen this happen:http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/surrey/8161870.stmHowever I wasn't far enough up the high street to see it happen - I heard 3 or 4 large bangs, and when I looked down the passage, saw a large sledge hammer on the ground and someone running off down the passage towards North Street.
-
SAW: The Ride
Yeah, I had this at the weekend too. I still love it at the bottom of the tower though when he's on the screen and says "Game - Over!", and then the screen goes off and you hear his little evil laugh before heading up the tower.

Roller Coaster Tycoon
Yesterday I tried to build Saw in RCT3, but I failed miserably because the style of coaster I was using would do inline twists or proper vertical lift hills. It would do proper uphill lift hills but not with a chain. So has anyone here tried to build Saw and what style of coaster have they used? Please can you tell me the name of the coaster you select from the list in the box before building it. I tried lots of styles and played around with them but didn't get anywhere.I'm also going to look for RCT3 recreations of Saw on YouTube and maybe message the video owners to see if they can help.I will build a Saw recreation!

Thorpe Park's Old Days
Yes it is, but I was rather hoping tpkabz would comeback with one of his rude attitudes, just to see what his response would be like.

SAW: The Ride
I thought they got rid of the freezer at Colossus?

Tidal Wave
You've gotta be quick when exiting the ride, as the walk between the station exit and the photo counter could easily get you soaked too.

Tell me, what does the big red rounded button do on rides? I really am clueless.

Chessington General Discussion
I see that's bus 71, a local one which goes round Chessie before and after other towns.

Stealth
Spooky. I see it opened about a month+half after Stealth did.

Logger's Leap
Was that picture taken recently? And I agree, Fotowhizz delivers some of the best pictures around. If you think they're good, check out the videos. A meaty size, but well worth a watch.

SAW: The Ride
Only 2. Why? Because you lot are always in the queue, making it a long queue.

Do you remember my suggestions for the area from last year? Click here. I still stand by it.

Pointless. But remember they reserve the right to change stuff like this at any time.

Rant
OK, I haven't ranted for a while, so here we go.Parking - people cannot park to save their lives today. They don't think where they park. I hate parked cars on the side of a road where one parks one side and another parks on the other, right opposite, leaving a stupidly tight gap for cars to squeeze through. Also, the ones who think about staggering their parking don't do it to well, as they leave not enough room, even when there's miles of road space around. A lot of people also park on corners, others park butt right up to double yellow line T-bars.I see these cars sometimes, and I think "What gives you the right?" - perhaps it might make sense to make every single road in the country with a single yellow line. People who have a driveway also take liberties, as they don't make full use of it, and park on the road outside, also causing an obstruction. Where people come and park in a side road on a daily basis and go to the train station, I make a note of their car details and registration numbers, and then analyse the data, seperating the "park-and-go's" from the people who live in the side road.See this? It's a parking meter in a car park, use it!

That's right, a double decker (sorry Gumboy, I should've been more clear). Here it is in action:

MTDP
The last MTDP outlined a widening for the main bridge. Is there still any plans to do this? It needs tidying up even if it doesn't get widened.

Colossus
Don't worry, that's normal for me. I hated the 2007 "Tony Blair" version. What was also annoying about that was the fact that the background music didn't blend in.
