  1. Yes I know Thorpe's budget is tiny compared to Universal's, but this genuinely looks like one of the haunted house things you'd see at a small seaside resort, not the UK's Thrill Capital. I'm sure it'll be impressive inside but it looks nothing like a cabin whatsoever from the outside. Of course people are going to compare the two mazes as they are the same IP and it's not like Thorpe aren't being backed by a major film company such as, oh I don't know... LIONSGATE! I have been to Orlando and I went via Gatwick thanks.
  2. Thorpe Park's 'Cabin In The Woods': Universal Studios' 'Cabin In The Woods': I just hope Thorpe's version isn't finished yet.
  3. But the overnight thing is £125..... http://www.thorpebreaks.co.uk/fright-nights.html
  4. Fright Nights is going to be amazing this year. 10am-10pm of rides and mazes, walkthrough of a maze on your own after park closes, overnight scare experience in the Blair Witch area... sounds absolutely brilliant!
  5. Camping out in the woods by the sounds of it, would be awesome!

    Jobs..

So I'm finally on the right career path for me! I'm now doing a QA IT Apprenticeship working at my old college in the IT department, exciting times
  7. Universal Mazes are very atmospheric with not as many jump scares. Thorpe's mazes are the complete opposite, something in the middle of the two would be perfect (which is what we could possibly see at Fright Nights this year)
  8. I'm sure they're going to do something decent with the You're Next actors, surely they can't have a big film like that just for some guys walking around scaring people in the park? Like you say Jack an entry show like that would be amazing
  9. Please do something like this Thorpe
  10. Thorpe just posted this on their Instagram: "Don't lose the map #frightnights #theblairwitchproject#sneakpeek http://instagram.com/p/eXh0VdEgPo/"
  11. I wonder why they've left Asylum until last on the reveals? Could be quite an anti-climax unless it has some sort of twist.
  12. Place your bets now on how much of that fake barbed wire Thorpe just love so much will be used this Fright Nights.
  13. Looks like Cabin In The Woods is going in the arena then?

  16. Blair Witch confirmed to be a scare zone https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151865384180867&set=a.377923300866.202576.27217550866&type=1&theater
  17. INSIDIOUS 2 IS SO GOOD. In other news, James Wan isn't making any more horror films Insidious 2 being his last, will be interesting to see what he comes up with next.
  18. 184 bedrooms? That's a lot of shipping containers, anyone have any idea how many rooms there currently is?
  19. From Thorpe's Facebook Page: "Fancy a sneak peek of our #FrightNights prep? No better day than Friday 13th!"

    The Smiler

It's a great ride, wouldn't call it world class but it is very good.
  21. My Bloody Valentine maze will be in the arena, confirmed.
  22. It's from 6:30PM - 10pm, so after school.
  23. Asylum's crying out for a Texas Chainsaw Massacre theme, it would be the perfect fit, especially with Leatherface chasing you out at the end with a chainsaw.
  24. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.624812380896594.1073741837.114248348619669&type=1 Some construction pictures here, credit to ScareTour. They also confirm that My Bloody Valentine will be in the Experiment 10 containers, Cabin In The Woods will be in the passing spot, and that work is going on behind Inferno for Blair Witch.
