  1. Cheers for that peep, does make more sense now.Only thing is, the 'salt' thing was in a pot that had 'salt' written on it. . Though what you say makes sense as to why the bloke cleaning up was wearing a face mask.
  2. Was slightly disappointed today.Queued up at the beginning of the day, for about 10 minutes (along with hanging outside Wild Asia for about 5 minutes waiting for it to open), and got to the loading bay. Was right by the gates. Ride finishes. Someone throws up. Fair enough. "Sorry guys, we've got to evacuate the queue." Excuse me!? Evacuate the queue to clear up a little bit of sick (and it was just a little bit!). Along with many others, I ask if it really necessary to make us leave the queue line. "Yes" she snidely replies. I ask if we're entitled to exit passes (in all my previous experiences of similar situations, this has always been the case. "No" She's snaps back. After a minute or so of discussion, myself and my mum give up. We leave the queue and, after quickly explaining the situation to my nan, we requeue again. After all, we had just reached the front, and we were darned if we were going to miss out on a short queue. After a few minutes if waiting, the same woman we asked about exit passes gives one to a woman who complained! It's disgusting. After all, how long could it take to clear up a little bit of sick. So, wait a couple of minutes, and there's 4 - yes 4 - members of staff waiting by the entrance telling people how the ride has experienced a technical difficulty and the ride would open "soon". But, for the most part, they were just having a chat. After about 10 minutes, someone comes with a bucket! Hallelujah! Then quickly followed by another one. Okay.. Then, one of them leaves with both the buckets. Then comes back after a couple of minutes with the buckets filled with water, and some salt. One of the 4 members of staff takes the salt. Then, it appears that the salt was sprinkled on the sick and just left there for ages. Then, it's eventually cleaned up. Then a test ride takes place! Bear in mind this was only a little bit of sick.It took 25 minutes to clear up a little bit of sick! Personally, I find that stupid! Ridiculous in fact. What annoys me more is the fact they evacuated the queue line. Why? Could anyone who works at any parks tell me if that was necessary, as it seemed incredibly stupid considering the sick was on the ride, and no where near the queue. And the fact we were denied exit passes, but others weren't. And that it took 25 minutes to clear up sick!I'm not very happy...

But if it's replacing of the trims fro, one form to another, then surely AT would have seen it coming to some sort of extent. I dunno, but surely something of this magnitude would have shown some sort of problems before.Let's just pin the blame on Intamin, again... shall we?

    SAW: Alive

The new music in there is rather annoying.Yes, I like it. It's good music. Reminds me slightly of the Saw theme itself. However, why in the maze!?I'm in a bathroom. There's a guy sawing his own leg off and trying to scare the heck out of me. SO what do I want to hear? A catchy piece of slightly creepy music of course! (Note the sarcasm). A complete atmosphere killer.Yes, it's fine in the photo point and before then. Heck, even the photo booth would have be fine. But not in the maze Use it for the queue line for some variation, but not the queue line. The maze has got worse as well. It's really scary to have people turn on a torch and go boo...
  8. To use this offer, do I just show my AP at any ORP desk and ask for a wristband?
  9. *JoshC. dislikes this*I have quite a few things to rant about. Firstly, "its half term now,, evry single 1 of dem mite be enjoyin the holls, but me, I am still sittin a doing the course work.. I hate my lifeeeee" <-- A friend's status on Facebook. Coursework was all due in before half term and it appears as if she has got an extension to finish, and she is moaning that she has to do it. Hello!? Why couldn't you do it when it is due and then you might be able to do something with your half term. Then again, most of us are going to be doing revision for the bulk of half term. Just annoys me. And apparently me saying that "You really shouldn't hate your life if you're the one who has caused it." is too harsh...Next, family. Just so everyone knows, I live with my mum and my nan. Basically, my nan hasn't been very well. She's been feeling ill in general, just summer colds and stuff like that. She recently hurt her leg and it means she can't walk that far at the moment. That topples on with arthritis in her leg which makes it hard for her to move anyway. Now, as I'm at school and my mum's at work (well, sleeping - she works nights) and we don't own a car anyway, it makes it hard for my nan to get out anywhere. My nan is one of those people who if they don't get out somewhere every couple of days, she gets frustrated. However, none of my aunts or uncles check to see how she is. Not even a phone call. And considering 2 of them live in Chertsey and only work part time, I find that insulting. The other 2 live further afield, but barely visit. Granted, one of them doesn't drive, but they don't even phone! So that leaves my nan to struggle to get out. Many a time when I've come home from school she tells me how she was able to get down the road, then didn't feel well so had to get a taxi home. One day, my nan's sister phoned, as she does, once every 3 weeks. A few days later, my aunt turns out of the blue, with flowers, and offering to take her somewhere. Coincidence ey? The thing is, if my nan gets frustrated, it's usually me or my mum who has to deal with it (even though she's never annoyed at us) because she never sees anyone! It really pees me off.And have more to rant about, but I'm too busy! XD
  10. I have to agree with Lordcutter6. It was a bit of a disaster. No organisation or anything. It was my first ever meet, and it didn't feel all that welcoming nor that fun. It more felt like every little group had met together for a chat, then went again. There was a photo, and we weren't really involved. Everyone went away before we had a chance to realise what had happened. All I can say is thanks to AeRo, LordCutter, Smartguy and his cousins for a great day!
  11. The DJ was there today.
  12. Looks like it'll be a wet-ish day. Good good. Less people, quieter queues/ Absolutely cannot wait!

  14. That's great Jack! My last exam is the 19th, so I'm fine from then onwards.
  15. I have an update for everyone. I am confirming an OFFICIAL 'relaunch' date! By 'relaunch', the site isn't disappearing, but by this date, everything I want added shall be added by then and the site will be updated on a regular basis. And the 'relaunch' date is... 31st July 2010!!I know it's a while away, but I'm only going to be really working on everything during July. :PAlso, I'm on the look-out for a couple of people to help me with the site. By help, I mean become an 'admin' as such, help with photos and - hopefully - videos, as well as updating the site and such. If you wish to be involved, please drop a PM. :PAlso, a Saw Alive layout! Okay, it's not perfect (only done in Paint after all). Red lines are curtain dividers and the thicker lines are props. This is one of the interesting things I hope TPI will provide that other sites won't. So, here is the preliminary edition...

I feel the exact same way. It's the first time, so I have no worries about queuing. After then, it's easy to make a decision on how long I'd wait for another go on it. I did that on Kobra; got some VERY funny looks from everyone. XD
  17. I'm still going to this meet, but have to leaving between 2-2:30 unfortunately.
  18. I bunked a day in Year 1 to go to Thorpe Park. Oh, and I bunked for the Saw AP day. :POh, and I too am going this Sunday. Is anyone else going then?

On a random note, I *finally* have a DP of myself!!
  20. Really? I never actually new that....... :P

  21. Oh. Erm, yeah, you could.. I couldn't explain it in any other way if I'm honest.. XD
  22. I really do need a DP of myself. XDI'm in the Lorikeet queue, wearing a black jacket. More notable for my 'floppy' hand I have for some reason.
  23. Well, it is much better than any other ride in the park (especially that strange bat-ride thing ;)), so how could I forget it? :P

  24. You can play the Spot the JoshC. game there. (HINT: Lorikeet queue line. ) Glad you had fun! Keep us updated of course.
  25. Woo, peep's here! Enjoy TPM
