Tbh thorpe could introduce a cashless system, with the option of a wristband/gift card style system that can be topped up during the day and unsued credit refunded at the end of the day.

A bobsled coaster hybrid could be great for thorpe, it could push the limits of what a bobsled can do, whilst providing a fun thrill ride that can have a decent height restriction.

Tbh the bag system is a shambles and holds up throughput at times on most rides. As good as the idea it is, It isnt cost effective with labour costs. I'm sure the park would be cheaper in the long run to add the mack storage systems. The new system seems worse as it will double the loading time and offers no security between trains unless they plan to add doors to the front like oblivion.

Dragon kahn on a good day beats them both.... shambala lacked any force when I went last year. Red force is good but dont expect an amazing launch. As much as I enjoyed portaventura I wont be back in a hurry, you can tell the park is ex tussauds, from the management and fast pass organisation and honestly not many rides had the wow factor with many rough and dated rides.

Rush had a pretty major problem last year, hence it started being stripped down before the end of the season.

You also have to think those high investment periods were A) when the park was in rapid growth in attendance which has reached its new peak. The attractions were needed to give the park a name and grow admissions. B ) pre merlin, pre before everything must be a worlds first or gimmick to get off the table. C ) the uk part of the group has had a rough couple of years so dividends and investment slow. D the group focus on opening and purchasing new parks rather than look after what they have with quick bucks investment because the market research may have suggested a walking dead ride for 1m vs a woodie for 15m would have the bigger affect on return on investment and attendance. ultimately were left with brewers that can brew a beer in control!

From the art this may have new trains, the style looks similar to thirteen from the artwork. As this is enclosed and the work has all taken place behind closed doors we cannot tell the extent of works that have taken place. A brake section could have been replaced with trick track ect or even retracking ect. the one thing I'm sure of its the only decent reide that thorpe had for younger guests. It will cause a number of complaints from people who have taken younger children on before. Its a complete u turn in the direction of Thorpe, wanting to accomodate family's and slap dash embarrassing investments.

When x opened the number of staff working on the ride was much higher, in most buildings there is a regulation of ratio of staff to customers for safe building evacuation, as the years went on x staff numbers dropped resulting in the outside queue and curtailed indoor queue line to ensure there are less people in the building without having double the length walk that now exists.

Has anyone given a thought that with the reworking of the building for the walking dead, if we could be seeing the entrance moved towards the back of the building ? It would see the end of the terrible long endless corridoors etc and could work better with having to split the queuline into 2 ext at peak times

We drove over to europa from phantasisa last year was a pretty straight forward drive, yes its about 3.5 hours but packs in a great trip

Ryan, would there be a possibility of the europe thrip coving several parks this year, E.g fly to cologne day1 at movie park germany, day 2 at phantasisa, and 2 days at europa park then fly back from basel or similar ? Obviously would only be an option if we had enough drivers
