  1. I know people with bad backs that regularly ride coasters... It depends on the individual person as everyones back problem affects them differently on rides, hence parks put the warning there to cover themselves if someone went on with a bad back and there wasn't a warning.... I'm sure it could end up in court. If your friend wants to try a ride its there choice and I wouldn't try and influence it just give them the best description as you can.
  2. Right ive changed my shift so should be all good And booked into t5
  3. We went on Friday and lets just say our show had Us and 2 other people so they ended up grouping us with the next two shows which meant over an half an hour wait for the bus ..... Shame really not worth the entry fee unless your going with children... Which as a children's franchise is understandable. But yes the bus is good.... It doesn't feature Shrek any where near enough and sleeping beauty is funny ...
  4. Most rides do not have a backup generators but I know saw has one to power the vertical lift evac tower
  5. Its all rubbish really although I think its funny the mirror have changed the headline from air yesterday.... I think someone realised the definition of being stuck upside down

Speculatively since Thorpe park have today advertised saw on the summer nights ride line up do you think we will see saw reopening shortly ? Surely they wouldn't advertise it in the confirmed line up if it was uncertain ?

Han30 I do know what you mean in places but no not meant to be a Comedy. This weeks new film minions has been crazy so if you do decide to embark seeing it avoid peak family times. Also sinister 2 is set for middle of August 21st I think with so much out over the next month and looking good is terminator genesis , mission Impossible rouge nation , inside out, amy , ant man and ted 2.

Marc am I right in thinking rumba's capacity has been reduced this year? There seems to be less boats in use and the spacing between boats seems much larger ?
  15. It says coming in July on the signage at site
  16. RobF replied to Marc's topic in General Discussion
They had both types of scanners at ride entrances so you could activate rnr if you missed it in the dome

We used reserve n ride today and my opinion overall was it worked very well we were a group of 3, however as the day went n the website kept increasing the size of our group until it saw 46 of us in our group but great day all rides done in under 2 hours obviously excluding saw as it was closed

My personal view is thorpe should keep there normal queue lines but update the app to be a paid for benefit similar to a queue bot at lego and blackpool. So say for £10 per person per day you have access to reserve and ride in its current form. I believe thorpe should also keep fast track along side it could be built into the app or run standalone as present but the tickets should be heavily priced and limited for instant access if that makes sence. So in summary the amount of r&r and fast track should not exceed the current quota so to keep the main queue moving.
  20. X

RobF replied to Garyy's topic in The Past
I'm unsure it totally depends on what the changes are going to be: in the past in the event of a shut down was an automatic evac on x, I dunno if this has since changed however other multi block rides have been able to be restarted. This could be why x is unafected but just speculation
  21. I agree with ricky I think a block reset will be the most likely cause off the crash, which may have triggered the lift hill. but all ride cars should be accounted for before coducting such a test as the stalled car would be wiped from the system like it didnt exist.
  22. Any Idea whos selling a top scan ? http://mondialrides.com/used/all/top-scan
  23. If ive got enough money left after my holiday I'm sure ill be there for both days
