Yes. Logger's did break down again for around 30 minutes at around 3ish, but this was soon rectified.
  2. I managed two. One at the front . After about 11am it was being run with 2 trains, which completely demolished the queue .
  3. Just got back from today, which was absolutely fantastic!Trip ReportGood PointsAfter 11am, all rides were available. (Logger's Leap was unavailable until then). The queues remained relatively short for a school holiday. Many park / ride effects were working well, which added to the atmosphere. (The mist and lights on Nemesis Inferno, the swinging pendulum blades on SAW were in operation etc.). All staff members were friendly and helpful throughout the day. The rides were being run exceptionally well throughout the day. Bad PointsI've got to say, for the first time ever visiting Thorpe Park, I don't have any criticisms about my day!Ride CountSAW: The Ride - 1Stealth: 2Colossus: 1Nemesis Inferno: 1Slammer: 3Samurai: 3Rush: 3Tidal Wave: 1Logger's Leap: 1Rumba Rapids: 1Time Voyagers: 1Average Queue TimesSAW: The Ride: 1 hour 45 minsColossus: 1 hour 30 minutesNemesis Inferno: 1 hour 10 minsStealth: 1 hourSlammer: 20 minsRush: 15 minsSamurai: 20 minsDetonator: 20 minsOther Flats: Approx 20-40 minsOther Water Rides: Approx 30-60 minsI would just like to mention Alexandra and Ricky operating Slammer, as they were exceptionally friendly and helpful in the queue-line. But generally, all of the staff at the park today were incredibly friendly, and helped create a fantastic day out! Thank you :)A great day, must be one of my best at Thorpe Park.

Agreed. I really can't decide at the moment between Diversity and Flawless. Diversity has that comic edge which I love, but on the other hand, Flawless seem to be slightly more slick and in-sync with each other. It really is a tough decision at this stage.
  5. Completely agree with that. We always have a laugh about what we hear in various queue-lines, and it adds a lot to our day. The great diversity of visitors is something I really love .

    Slammer

Is it actually open now? It is still showing as unavailable on the website.

    Logger's Leap

It is possible to fall out, I.e.: if you are being stupid and standing up, or jump. And no, it is not possible for the logs to roll back down the lift hill on the main drop. As you travel up the lift hill you will see and hear the little catches on the side of the chute clicking. These hold the boat in place and stop it from falling down.
  9. I'm going as well tomorrow might see you there!I'm hoping Slammer will be open, as it has been closed for my past 8 visits, but I guess I'm just being a tad optimistic.

    Logger's Leap

I'm not sure, but usually it's just something minor and the ride is back up and running shortly.

    Logger's Leap

Logger's Leap is now unavailable according to the TP website. Hopefully it will be up again soon.
  12. I'm really pleasantly surprised at those Q times Doesn't seem too bad at all.At least Thorpe Park hasn't reached full capacity today, the park obviously isn't as busy as at Easter.
  13. If anyone is going tomorrow, would it be possible to post some average queue times in the evening please?

Yes, definitely .And the exit gates could be themed as a taxi cab, so as the gondola gradually slows down and stops, it looks like the taxi is waiting to take you away .
  15. Does anyone think Thorpe Park will see another full capacity day tomorrow? In my opinion, I don't think it will happen, mainly because SAW has settled in, and there won't be as much of a huge surge of visitors wanting to ride it. And does anyone have some average Q times from today?

    Random

I'm having quite a random day today, and I have designed a ride that I would like to share with you. It's called The Apprentice: You're Fired, and it is a Fabbri Mega Drop. Riders will hear the boardroom theme as they are rising to the top. When they get to the top, and the gondola stops, riders will hear Sir Alan's voice saying. "I let you on this ride, because I liked the look of you. But it turns out you're no bloody good. And for that reason.... You're Fired!". After "You're Fired", the gondola will drop. This is my all time dream of how a Mega Drop should be themed! .
  17. To be honest, I can't see how it makes much of a difference with or without the smoke anyway, not like the mist on Nemesis Inferno does.

    Slammer

I have no idea what is wrong with it. This question is for anyone who has been to the park in the past week or so, has there been visible work going on with Slammer throughout the day?I'm only asking this because every time I go to the park when Slammer is closed, there seems to be nothing being done to it. (Nothing visible anyway). I haven't ridden Slammer in such a long time, as it has been closed for all of the last 8 times that I have visited.
  19. I do like the current theme, but I just thought that the theme I thought of would also fit the ride well. You must admit though, that the current theme does get a bit boring and samey after a while.
  20. Just little touches like that might not seem a great deal, but they definitely make a huge difference to the ride experience.
  21. I would love to see a change in the music both in the queue line and station for Colossus. I had an idea of the following tune, which I think would fit in well with the theming, and creating a intense atmosphere. Ticking Drama - Dru Masters(You can find this easily on Spotify or the internet).

Yeah, I was pleased will who went through as well. I would love the guy with the incredibly high singing voice to win it! He was great . Do you have any ideas of who you want to win?
