I am plagued with the same issue...countless visits to THORPE and the occaisional Legoland/Chessington. I would ALWAYS go for the MAP as it just gives you the option. I mean you may get the opportunity to go to Alton Towers with friends in the next year...your daughter may want to go to legoland...I know my niece at the age of 2 1/2 really enjoyed legoland.

I think the new advert is ok...but I would consider it a little bit misleading if I were a parent of a 5-8 year old. It depicts young children at the beginning however there are only a handful of rides this market can go on at THORPE, all depending on the child's height obviously.

Air being stuck on its lift hill is all but a daily occurrence really though (or at least it used to be). And as for the point that "no-one was smiling"...that is rubbish...I bet someone was...

Why not just get both? - Please. On another note, I would prefer a wooden coaster. I have had the privilege on going on El Toro and my god that seriously would work in TP. Height obviously would be an issue...but it would work. It would look imposing and scary in the parks skyline.

Looking at the ride it just looks as if it is more disorientating than sheer fun. I wont be able to try it until October probably, but I'm sure it will not be better than Nemesis for me.

Too many options now!!! Annual passes just ran out not sure weather to go for a TP AP through one of the ways listed above, Merlin AP or the pay monthly thing lol... I think TP should offer their own pay monthly AP.

Completely agree, but then Thorpe could in a way get a reputation as Merlin/Tussaud's second hand dumping ground what with Samurai also being from another park. Reliability would also possibly be an issue as it is nearly 10 anyway...

Personally if I were Merlin/AT I would just keep it where it is...its popular and a great ride. But as they have highlighted that it is to be moved its anyones guess.
