According to the app in addition to Samurai and Slammer being down: Colossus Closed Detonator Closed Nemesis Inferno Closed Saw The Ride Closed X Closed 7 rides closed!? What the hell is happening?

Yep, it's a shame Alton Towers can't do the same (about capacity and The Smiler being closed!)

I could touch the trees with my foot last year so this could be the reason. Only brushed it though.

Yep I work in a supermarket. Time and half on Bank holidays and £2 extra ph for working nights. Overtime/Weekends are exactly the same rate as Weekdays

Thirteen was closed when I visited Alton in the cold weather in March.

Everytime I went there last year you could choose which row to go on yourself. There were no batchers. They only told you what side of the train to go on.

Let's just get rid of this awful ride. Everyone I know who goes to Thorpe Park (who are all just the normal GP type, not enthusiasts) absolutely hate the ride. Its boring & feels like its going to breakdown. I really don't understand how anyone could like this ride, I really don't.

The Pizza Pasta at Alton is alright, but personally I just prefer Pizza Hut.

They won't they'll replace them with own brand outlets. 100% revenue then. Alton had a McDonalds in Forbidden Valley quite a while ago.

TT and TS are both reporting that Burger King at Alton Towers and Thorpe Park are closing from next season.

I agree with the low throughput being the main reason, but I enjoy the ride myself. Always puts a smile on my face. All my mates like it too. (Spinball this is)
