Fright Nights 2017
Can't see them using the Sunken Gardens as a queue line - they'd get completely trashed

Music
Can I have a little brag please? My super talented other half (now wife, to be exact but that makes me sound super old) - Becky Jerams - has a track she co-wrote on the K-Pop act Red Velvet's "The Red Summer" mini album. The album is currently #1 on the Billboard World chart, and the track itself "You Better Know" - which isn't even the title track - has has 1.5 million streams, 84,000 sales and charted at #14 in Korea I know we have some K-Pop fans amongst us so hope you don't mind me sharing.... those figures obviously don't include Youtube streams/usage above so we are super excited. Just a shame it takes a good a year or so for the first royalties to come through!

Thorpe press night
One of my posts on Facebook recently got as many as 20 likes so I await my invitation to this year's press night.

Next Roller Coaster
Yep it has to be a big coaster really - probably another woody to match AT's, they like to buy their coasters in bulk

Slammer replacement?
Assume Slammer is still sitting there untouched, complete with pigeon nest, currently? #Rip2ndBae

SW8 gives me a reason to visit Towers next year, that's already agreed between my friends and I - although I best not book any accommodation for a little while, what with the previous track records for opening dates. I have to say though, SW8 does seem to be progressing nicely. I'm sure the dry weather has helped greatly - if I recall, the summer when the Smiler was built was particularly wet!

Walt Disney World Resort
Ellen's Energy Adventure was a good laugh but it is quite dated now - amazing how even the "old" rides at Disney/Epcot are a lot more impressive than a lot of attractions over here The Great Movie Ride is "classic" Disney and we did enjoy it when we went - I remember laughing quite a lot at the animatronic Tarzan and his battle cry as he swang in on a rope

Fright Nights 2017
Merlin love a good "accidental" leak. They've been doing it for years. Just try walking under Storm Surge.

Fright Nights 2017
Preview Night is the cheapest night The Colony went into the cornfields I think but there were random fires, actors etc. so maybe it was that maze that had been adapted? The sheer size and length of the mazes astounded me like I say! 100% going again this year. Also to keep on topic: How long until SAW Alive gets binned? And also - FN's starting on 29th September this year now

Fright Nights 2017
100% going to Tulley's again this year - purely just to meet the popcorn girls again haha Was very impressed last year, and that was on the preview night, so assume it would have been even better once the actors had got used to the new mazes etc. Hopefully Hellements goes this year as that was laughable, that was my only negative. The size/length of The Colony is something that Thorpe can unfortunately only ever dream of.

Galactica
I applaud AT for these videos - like I said on Facebook, they shouldn't have to explain themselves - but it helps shutdown (no pun intended) the Daily Mail fake news articles. I haven't read the article, but I wonder if they mentioned the Smiler accident in it - I'm sure they did....

Logger's Leap
Thorpe's social media will keep saying a mixture of it's closed permanently and under redevelopment, ad nauseam, because they don't know. Looking forward to another 10 pages of Twitter and Facebook screenshots until closed season.

This is/was Merlin at their most desperate IMHO. There's a reason why it's a world's first Surprised they didn't come up with a World's First for Storm Surge... I can think of a few It's a shame tagging world-first (or UK first) on to everything - The Smiler is/was a strong enough brand without it. Evidently doesn't always work or make any difference, with The Swarm being billed as the UK's first winged coaster being a case in point.
