  1. Most ride announcements will have their own separate panel, which is controlled manually. For Example, the announcement you hear when Vortex Starts. The operator will have to press two buttons at the same time, one for the announcement, one to start the rides sequence.Area Music is controlled by a central computer and is rooted out to different areas of the park. The computer is programmed to know what files to play where, and at what time. So things such as WWTP Radio, Lost City Music etc, is all controlled automatically by one central hub. This is commonly known as Project Link. This kind of music is out of the operators control, however, they do have the power to make an area wide announcement through the queue line and surrounding areas.
  2. Yeah that particular phrase I posted doesnt actually breach my contract. Had I expanded on that then yes it would've. Unless you can personally quote part of the contract that states how my phrase breached it, I have done nothing wrong
  3. Yeah making a statement and not being able to justify it. Cleaver. They're not safe, as they don't get the same TLC that established theme park rides do. The testing is all different too, I've witnessed it and I know exactly how a Fun Fair works. The testing is just a few circuits and if nothing falls to pieces, it's deemed as safe to ride. With a theme park ride, ever single aspect of the ride is evaluated before public operation. They are also not dismantled and moved around every 3 days. The rides used at funfairs are just there temporarily. How do you know the operators are properly trained to know how to conduct safety checks for the rides? Do you actually think they know what theyre going to be checking for? Trust me, they dont. They merely know how to peice the ride together and how to operate it. If thats what you call safe, then I'd hate to think what you'd class a disaster.Need I say no more.
  4. And In what way is that breaching my contract?
  5. No didn't hear about it. Sounds juicy though.
  6. It's good but the Grass just isn't Thorpe Park, it takes away that Thrill Factor. The hot air balloon is out of place, plus there isnt even one at the park, which is a bit misleading. I see what you've done with the Magic Wand tool and the Logo, but the text needs to be white. Its hidden in the sky, because its the same colour which makes it harder to see. Also, Billy riding his bike through the Grass!? No No No, thats nothing like Saw!
  7. The wasteman didn't read the sub heading for the topics title! You cant wish for that! :PI wish for everyones wishes to come true x3 (only if theyre positive!)
  8. Oh lord, these journeys are a nightmare. I absolutely hate the TPE. However £1 for staff is amazing IMO. I usually try to car/train it whenever I can

    Slammer

It doesnt require a part or anything like that, the ride is just generally ship. It's slammer, what do you expect!?
  10. The scariest part is being lifted up. The feeling of loosing the floor and the loose restraints just scares the hell outta me.What's more scary, though this has never happened to me, is if the car was stuck at the top after the countdown. If that happened to me I would just be so scared. Not knowing when it's about to drop is just terrifying.
  11. Haha, oh I know James and his technical aspects with Bose, though I now clearly understand how it all works thanks to him xD
  12. The only exception is for The Flume music, which is played on Depth Charge. It gets an exception because it is so fudging awesome! I'm sure everyone will agree *dances*
  13. Its originally made/intended for Chessington. Therefore it does not count.
  14. Well I guess the head banging does reflect the rides theme. Saw is based around torture!Of course it is unintentional, but it does add to the effect
  15. Just seen a YouTube Video. I thought we should all see the queue for Saw on April 10th(Apologies for the terrible quality, Mobile Video)

    MTDP

Personally, IMO, perhaps they wont bother putting anything there, and will just fill it with trees or something. A Huss Jump 2 is just not going to happen, its too big, way to big, especially if it's twice the size of Rush, and Rush is big. It seems logical to keep it empty. Otherwise it would just be too crowded. The thing I liked about Fungle was that it was secluded and in a sense hidden with all the trees. It was quiet, and unnoticeable. Which meant you couldn't really tell it was there, if you see what I mean. They could if they wanted to extend The Asylum, making it much more worth the 4 1/2 hour queue. Just a thought though.
  17. I cant give you a definite answer on that one, purely because the Saw Store isn't my unit. Though I think they retail at £9.99 - £12.00Please don't hold me to that though! You don't want to go to the Saw Store though, no no no. Mega Store ftw!Yeah erm, about Saw, I think the throughput is terrible.
  18. If Saw is closed, why not drop by the Saw Store and pickup a Syringe Pen for only £1, or perhaps a T-Shirt, so you can relive the moment when you were told Saw - The Ride is closed! If the Saw store isnt enough, then come along to the Thorpe Mega Store, the biggest store in the park, with a wide range of Gifts & Products that will make you remember your wonderful day at Thorpe Park!
  19. A Stage you say Todge? I shall check it out tomorrow
  20. Anyone that is still not convinced about the Yorkie Sponsorship, then take a look at this video which clearly shows the sponsorship banners. If you look close enough, youll see that there is another banner on the gates to the Top Hat and Bunker Building Section
  21. I wouldn't call it an effect, id called it more a promotion for Yorkie When a ride is sponsored, Thorpe are paid to slap theming around (for the sponsoring brand), thus, resulting in Thorpe getting some of that money back <_<I see their logic, but I still hate it
  22. This is interesting. Cant wait to see what its going to look like. Though I doubt I'd be staying in it
