Disneyland Resort California
Although I was vaguely aware of each as it happened, it's great to see everything in one place! Thanks Rave!

N'aww Voyage of the Little Mermaid looks adorable Some of those animatronics are stunning too - I don't know how many people saw the behind the scenes videos WDI were releasing during construction, but getting a close up look at them the AAs are really excellent. Wonderfully smooth movement too. The first Ariel AA is especially good, and Ursula! But the WDW version will have a cooler facade

Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger TidesPirates back on top form. Willing to poke fun at itself a bit more now, simpler plot, way more exciting and atmospheric. Only thing missing was a bit of Keira 9/10

RCT3
Seems the best place to put this - Frontier (the people jointly behind RCT3 with Atari) have finally put an end to the rumours circulating for weeks about a new coaster game being in the works, by confirming on their Twitter that they are indeed working on a new coaster game! This is a separate development to the rumoured RCT4, which Atari vaguely hinted at around a year ago. Very little is known at the moment, but I've quoted some of their tweets below which give away all that we know so far!Sourcefrontierdev Frontier @doomey We do have a rollercoaster game in the works, but it won’t use the RCT name.frontierdev Frontier @doomey no, not thrillvillefrontierdev Frontier @ThemeParkHQ - no, it won't be announced at E3.frontierdev Frontier@STCSam we're giving our coaster design enthusiasts full rein, so not dumbed down at all. Obviously we want it to be as easy to use as poss. The last point is the most interesting, and seems to place the game somewhere between RCT3 and NoLimits in terms of realism and features. It has been suggested by some that different design modes could perhaps be implemented to suit both the coaster fans and casual gamers.Either way, even with limited information so far, it's exciting to see the genre making a modern-day comeback! I'll be keeping an eye on developments

Didn't say you have to ban it, just giving my opinion. Sorry, I forgot that is banned.

I wouldn't say it's too serious. And none of the things you mentioned Benin came close to depicting an actual past event. I know CoD has toed the line on occasion in the past, but I feel like this is too far.

So... Modern Warfare 3 trailer... Looks really distasteful to me. Not impressed. And that's from someone who isn't ever offended by the idea of shooters or anything, I just think having half of Manhattan looking how it did on 9/11 then cutting to the London Underground and showing a train flying off the track and smashing into the side of the tunnel is unacceptable.

Beetlejuice's Rock 'n Roll Graveyard Revue is a brilliant show, and Shrek is wonderful too. I find both of these, Terminator and Jaws are really made or broken by the TMs running them though. Last year I had an amazing run of hosts on all four, the Universal staff really are great.

Worst fault with the HBO special was actually that all the cut scene films were edited out to make room for the backstage stuff, they're brilliant and really pump up the excitement and atmosphere in real life. Also I Sky+'ed it last night, was it shown with adverts? When it premiered on HBO and I watched it there were no ad breaks, but from looking at the planner it looks like it was 25 mins longer on Sky so I'm guessing there were adverts?

^ To clarify, the guy is 81 cm tall :blush:And that happens with me and my mum as well Tommy! I think it's because if you have male and female and a decent age gap you have just about every base covered. Annoying you have to be 18 eh!

I love all the Fantasyland dark rides Best strategy though is to do them first in the morning, grab Fastpass for Pan and then do Pooh, SWSA and small world before the queues build up. I've seen Pan and Pooh at 100+ mins in the summer before.

Parks, Rides And Coaster News
Universal just finished their webcast announcement of new stuff coming to Orlando! The new waterpark was not announced. Despicable Me replacing Neutron was announced! It'll be in 3D and will turn the audience into Minions! Huge tech upgrades to Spiderman were announced! It's going HD, with new animation and some set enhancements too! The new HD projection looks stunning, here's a preview shot! Both attractions are due to be operational in 2012, but no specific date has been given. So nothing we didn't know was happening, no official word on the WonderSea project yet, but exciting nonetheless!
