  1. Ok, I am considering getting this as my first purchase of a game like this. However I have a couple of questions;Should I start with something like RCT or would I be able to get the hang of this over time? How much would it cost to upgrade to these sorts of requirements?Pentium PIII or better-3D accelerated video card with at least 32 MB Video-RAM
  2. Just realised I haven't posted my thoughts.I really like the new website, it conveys exactly the right image that Chessington want in my opinion. The whole layout and colour scheme makes it attractive and user friendly for most people, very good. Then again it's hardly got much competition on website design!
  3. I live near and go to school in Sutton too! I am also jealous as I want to go to more of the thrill parks in the states. Florida is fantastic though!
  4. Ok here goes.....The overall theme is of a top secret "NASA meets area 51"style.The queue stays similar but the traps in the line are replaced by old space junk type objects. The barbed wire can stay as it is top secret. There are red lights which flash as if a big event is about to occur. As you enter the building the screens show previous attempts at launching this new style rocket, needless to see it does not bode well. Replacing the props indoors there are large computers and servers, there are also models of successful rockets and reports of great space missions. The whole area is lighter and looks more clean. As you reach the station there is a big countdown clock on the wall and there are even more computers. there are also flashing lights and klaxons as the new space rocket is about to be launched. The cars have been completely refitted, they are a sleek white/silver colour and on board audio has been installed. As you get in, the on board audio is playing a sound which sounds like preparations. As the countdown clock reaches ten seconds, you are fully loaded and the audio starts the whole countdown thing. The indoor section of the ride is lit up at this point and it is just a plain wall. However just as you start to move forward this light goes out and the on board audio plays a "stressed out mission control". They say how control has been lost and anything could happen. You then do the inside drop and stop on the brake section. It sounds as if control is being regained but then you launch of again and go out the building through the barrel roll. As you come outside the people in the audio sound relieved and say that there was just a minor bug and it had been sorted out, you are now completely safe. You are told that you are climbing a contraption, which when you reach the top will allow you to launch up into space. You then ascend the lift but as you start the audio crackles as if connection is being lost. It then goes completely silent and you ominously continue to ascend the lift hill. Just before the top somebody comes on the audio saying "You shouldn't have trusted them, you made the same mistake I did!" the audio then dies again. You continue the rest of the track as normal as if you are an out of control rocket. As you re-enter the station you are rushed out of the facility and are told not to mention anything about what you have just experienced. The photo shop is rethemed as a kind of bootleg stall who have hacked the servers and accessed some of the classified data, this being your photo and video.
  5. I have an idea, not great but an idea none the less. Will type it up tomorrow.
  6. Has anyone had any experience of any taxi services from Stoke-on-Trent station? Doesn't seem to be much of a difference between the companies so am looking to see if anyone has had personal experiences, good or bad.
  7. I much prefer the normal theme music as I think it builds up the excitement very well. I can however see why this is happening. I think more of the people going will prefer the chart music than theme music.
  8. Just a quick question, I am trying to visit Alton Towers more often and have been looking into using the trains. The problem is that if I were to go on a day trip there, the train costs would be quite expensive (£50+) at the times when I would be looking to use them. I know that it is a long way away but are there any ways in which I could save money on this? Thanks in advance.
  9. Damn! Manta worked fine when I was there and the queue never went over 30mins, the end of august is great as the southern US schools have gone back.

    SAW: Alive

You'd think they would lock the door!
  11. Wo, that really is a long queue! Longest I have seen at Thorpe is 2hrs for Colossus, I have never been on any super busy days such as Fright Nights though.I saw and waited in a 3 hours queue for the Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit in Universal Studios Florida. This was with approximately 45 minutes of downtimes. It really was ridiculous, a ride that was meant to open in Spring only soft opened in August with terrible reliability and very limited capacity!
  12. I definitely would tell them, would be bad if there was an incident. I was just speculating, I am quite a nervous and honest person so I would be too worried and nervous that I wouldn't enjoy myself.I could never straight up lie to my parents, that would just be wrong in my opinion.
  13. I definitely can't go on this one because I don't have my AP yet but will use that for the next trip!
  14. Not a bad idea dummiguy, hadn't considered that. Really looking forward to the full version!
  15. Or I could just say I am going with friends full stop.
  16. Would love to come but got the same problem of my parents thinking that you are all serial killers or pedophiles who will harm me, really annoying. Talks will continue however and will endeavor to come on a future meet.
  17. That does look really good. Shame I never got to see this or the fire.
  18. I think he means any photos of it going off.

    Video Games.

I have been playing COD:MW2 and Assassin's Creed 2 recently. I think that MW2 is a good game but there are so many issues with it such as care package glitching and nuke boosting that the game just stops being fun. Whilst yes some of the problems are the fault of the game but the community is really spoiling the game. I have found myself switching back to COD4 because I feel it is a much better game overall. On the other hand I think Assassin's Creed 2 is a master piece. I had the original and really enjoyed it but this is a completely different level. The whole economy set up works really well and the variety of missions is fantastic. As well as this it has a great story line and plenty of side quests to keep you busy. I am currently working towards the Platinum trophy on this game and have no intentions of stopping soon.

    Rita

I really like the new logo, it really shows how what once used to be a vibrant race track has slowly fizzled out to become an old decrepit area. I think it is rusted just they perfect amount, it shows that there is a legacy of Rita.
