Best opening EVER!

SAW: The Ride
When I acknowledge these 'simple' (again with the patronising) guidelines I end up with a massive headache (indeed, try keeping your head back on Space Mountain in Paris and then tell us about bracing)... Considering a LOT of people on here all agree that moving your head away from the restraint is more likely to prevent direct head-bashing... Well, wonder who is actually right?

Tidal Wave
It's the area where the water is held (I.e. The splash pool)... Happens on a regular basis...

Of course none of these people compare to the Sultan of Brunei...

Snow Joke in Paris
I must say RC Racer was an extremely fun ride to add to this, an IMMENSE about of airtime throughout... LSMs <3 Also Tower

SAW: The Ride
Keeping my head back actually means I'm in line with the ACTUAL restraint... Head forwards results in my head not connecting to the restraint... I'll keep my head as far away from the restraint as possible thanks...

The only improvement they could make to Peeking Heights is throwing it away... I do wonder though why all of a sudden news of such an investment in Chessie (since those two words NEVER happen) wasn't revealed until THIS week... Great to see 3 rides down for opening though... PERFECT decision making...

I'm not a fan of 'celebs' who get such treatment when visiting, not like they couldn't afford a fastrack now is it?- The Crash Pad
Well if you're not close before you stay over you will be at the end of it all... Let's just hope no claustrophobia sufferers stay over...- SAW: The Ride
- Cedar Point
Concept for the entrance plaza was posted recently... It made the Burger Kitchen theme look unique and next level... EDIT - Have a picture of said plaza...- Your Sexuality
It's the way to go really...- The Swarm

The two Polish girls at my work are lovely and very good workers... Indeed, when speaking about the Polish lifestyle, they all seem very hard workers and come over to the UK because we offer better prospects in certain ways comparitively to their own country... Tarring everyone with the same brush is not right in any state...- The Smiler
Nah, Mystery Mine is pretty fab (although some of the cornerning was done via a set-square), and as for Fluch... One poor example of a ride type does not mean they are ALL awful... Unfortunately, the worst version is the most ridden one here...- Alton Towers Trip Reports
DAT DUCK RAPE!- The Smiler
Seeing this thing in real-life is beyond what the photos show, cannot comprehend how tangled the mess of track is (and how huge the site/track are)... It looks fab <3- The Smiler
Erm... Ok then... Care to explain this because I don't get why a support slightly cutting through a roof of another building is anything to care or worry about. Not difficult to ensure that the existing unmoveable building isn't affected by the actions of the ride supports (I.e. Vibration, stress, etc)... I look forward to seeing this with my own eyes today...- The Poll of retirement
Out of that list, only not ridden 4 (though the Magic Carpet would be 5), which really only 2 of them I could've actually ridden (being Eclipse and Terror Tomb)... 5th Dimension and Space Station Zero never existed on my visits, hence to me, they never actually existed in my lifetime...- Chessington General Discussion
The ground is constantly shifting, hence why repaving is a complete patchwork (key examples are the field by Fury and the entrance to Trail of the Kings)... It's REALLY bad but something the park cannot control...- Rita
It looks awful as said... So in a way, it suits Rita to a tee, as that ride is awful in both a visual and physical sense...- The Smiler
That Corkscrew transition is VILE... Gerstlauer are the new Vekoma confirmed...- Zufari
I don't think people avoiding spoilers in that video should be worried, indeed, if you were to watch it now, the feeling of potential disappointment at Chessie getting the absolute minimal budget will occur long before actually experiencing the ride... It's really unfinished, it's quite bad really, I can forgive the lack of foliage as this is a common problem with most new rides anyways (this moreso as it was literally, a field beforehand, making the contrast even higher)... But still... Final verdict will of course be given on ride, but it looks like it's gonna be another wasted chance from that POV... Especially with a pre-recorded voice...- Alton Towers General Discussion
Love how Fanta was ghastly and no-one ever cared about the Coke sponsorship logo (in regards to Rehydrator based times)... Not a fan of it being the Smiler logo though, let the rides be separate please... - Liam from One Direction - 14th March 2013
