Alton Towers General Discussion
Park opened, but most of the rides were (unsurprisingly) shut... Exactly what Ricky's original post said...

Alton Towers General Discussion
Considering THAT'S the state of the park (and the surrounding area), that's as good as it's gonna get... It's a double edged sword... They should (if they want to stay open) have discounted the price two fold in order to represent the low availability (because it's not solely down to the temperature)...

Snow Joke in Paris
I was probably over-exaggerating I admit, but still, it was pretty bad and made just as much sense as Time Voyagers ever did Least it's better than Honey I Shrunk the Audience

Snow Joke in Paris
The steak (mine at least) was pretty crap unfortunately, filled with fat and gristle throughout </3 Captain EO is up there with Time Voyagers as worst 3D show I've seen... The people involved in it though was ridiculous (Francis Ford Coppola? WTF?!)... Indy was running well I might add, indeed, Space Mountain was the roughest coaster there but none seemed to be running as bad as I've experienced before or in other parks... MAGIC EVERYWHERE!

pluk thinks that the investment is because the structure was neglected for years and hence HAD to be done... ANY removal of theming (especially permanent) cannot be termed as good news...

SAW: The Ride
A few degrees makes a WORLD of difference... Indeed, the difference between 2 degrees Air and 5 degrees Air is actually quite massive in regards to it's speed (notably the full inline)...

There is no reason as to why the lift hill rocks cannot return... Indeed, why not have the Gold Panning/Donuts INSIDE the rocks as a cave? So have to deal with a year (at minimum) of the rides looking like crap and pray/beg/hope that they don't cancel the return...

SAW: The Ride
You are incredibly mistaken, nothing has changed on Colossus' trains regarding restraints in several years after the original train changes (bulkier restraints and the metal braces on the sides)...

The Smiler
If the world first is the inversion record, it has no reason to be breaking down all the time... Indeed, most Gerstlauer coasters are reliable, let's not tar them all with the same brush just because Saw is useless...

Towers taken the decision to close today as a result of the weather... This year's gonna be awkward...

So if Crash Pad is value for money, what is this offer from Europa Park on that scale? http://resort.europapark.de/lang-en/Hotels/Angebote/Europa-Rundreise/c1450.html I feel that should this be deemed a success, it'll result in Crash Pad becoming a permanent addition, rather than a hotel being the result...- Rant

Most of Thorpe's visitors think Saw is an amazing ride... If anything, they're the ones with the invalid opinions...- Chessington General Discussion
Jumbos doesn't look that bad... Aside from the casually racist elephant- Snow Joke in Paris
IT'S RAFAEL Every single staff member on Tower was brilliant... Just, simply brilliant and amazing, each one with their own little quirks and ways of playing up to the crowd (another example was the member stating no scissors were allowed on the ride to ensure your missus doesn't fall up through the hole in the roof)... Even the language barrier isn't an issue <3- Chessington General Discussion
No idea when it'll be open, contact Chessie directly to see if they can give anything to you...- Legoland
I dunno here, at least this attraction makes some sense to open late as it involves water and wouldn't be used that much for the first few weeks... It is weird this year though...- The Crash Pad
You have seen the weather forecasts right?- The Smiler
I think a few might be surprised how over supported some rides actually are...- Chessington General Discussion
Best opening EVER!- SAW: The Ride
When I acknowledge these 'simple' (again with the patronising) guidelines I end up with a massive headache (indeed, try keeping your head back on Space Mountain in Paris and then tell us about bracing)... Considering a LOT of people on here all agree that moving your head away from the restraint is more likely to prevent direct head-bashing... Well, wonder who is actually right? - The Crash Pad
