Defo the same by looks of things...Since it was always a shop, the main entrance (into Octopus Gardens) wasn't enough and rather claustrophobic when busy...Hence, another entrance was made... Simple solution here... Help reduce everyone trying to get in and out of one section by building another in the side...

Trucks needs to go die ANYWAY...Fast-track added on... It's just going to be a nightmare for everyone involved, I honestly feel sorry for those who have to work on it this year with that added on... Absolute shambles...It's very similar to Lego having Q-bot on loads of small attractions, but at least they are limited by the time-frame given to them, unless Chessie revamps the system here, the queue for Truckers WILL be an hour in peak days... And that's not right at all...Jumbos as Mark said is similar... It's always got consistently high queues in peak days, and it doesn't have the full overall capacity to allow easy acceptance of Fast-track...And Toadies? Just... WHY?I liked Chessie's low number of rides on Fast-track, especially as they were all rides that could take on the extra number of people without kicking up too much of a fuss aside from those exceptionally busy days... Why are Chessie wasting money on things like this when there are a lot bigger and more important things to do... It's not like they don't sell enough surely?And if they're doing it to help warrant an increase in price? What crap that would be, yeah I wanna go on Fury and Vampire before hitting up Truckers... Bloody brilliant...

It does seem very random this, as there's no way I can see people saving money using this...If they did it for families rather than individuals, then I could see an idea forming, but... I don't think the average spend per head in March will be that high just for f&b...

This is Chessie's problem atm though, it's stuck in a loop of investment versus income...The park CAN get the people in... That much is certain, but it seems that it needs to prove that fact to the big bosses, because it appears that if it doesn't do well enough in their eyes, projects like Toytown get cancelled, yet that would give the park something to heavily advertise and get more people in...Consider the fact that between Fury and Sea-Life, with barely any investment bar Peeking and a hotel, the park was still able to bring in a million guests a year... And in 2009 broke into the top 20 visited European parks...I don't really remember working there when it hit capacity, but my point is that if they CAN do it, then they can prove that the park is completely worth the investment of a Gerstlauer Launched and beyond...

Good for Chessie I say...Now they need to hit capacity during the actual season to show how popular and in need of higher investment it is...

^Nemmie and Blivvy were both on it last year...And I'm sure Rita was... The one time I went for ERT based times it was (unsuprisingly) broken...The only main shock is lack of Spinball, but this will probs change somehow before opening...

Following Merlin is obviously very bad for my health, considering the amount of times they've caused me to head-desk due to a new addition...

If Sonic Spinball gets 750 an hour then I may as well just jump out my window right now...Just... No...And it's certainly not one of the best MS spinners around... And I'm not even counting Fury here...

I am fully aware of that game's existance, but it's one of the lesser known of Sonic's games is my point... How many kids will have even HEARD of the Mega Drive?Plus, Spinball (the ride) is just terrible... That's more what I was getting at, they're bringing in noises that really have more to do with the original 'theme' than it does with the current one...I hope they do move it in the future, down to Cloud Cuckoo Land and theme it accordingly...

Why are there pinball noises when it's themed to Sonic now?There's another bloody ride the park messed up...

If you want it to be a perfect recreation with Rush, Saw and Colossus, let alone theming, it's not great...Still, could be interesting to see what you'd come up with without it...

There's a custom flat ride of a Screaming Swing milling about somewhere on the net... Try Atari's forums or Shyguy's World...There's a few Eurofighter's digging about as well...Tbh the hardest one to do will be Colossus in a recreation if you're going for track accuracy... Everything else with the right custom stuff is fine...

^Not that I needed the Wi-Fi... :)In actual park news, Duel has some new pieces of theming in the queue... And the spider-crabs replaced the rays... Making it really crap in that room now as they do NOTHING...Aside from that, nothing unusual to report, aside from many the conservatory work they're doing at Hex's exit...

Ohhhh, is it that time of year already? Where HAS the time gone...Yesterday, being the Facebook Deals day, had to be attended to not only ride Nemesis again, but also see how well the staff would cope with it, a decent test for the new year...Great news is, that it all went smoothly... Everything meant to be open bar Toadstool was open, we had absolutely no problems with getting the tickets, AND we even got the free hotel room from the opposite end of the park...Fab times...Weather wise it began ok until about 1 when it started to chill up fiercely... Was just "OMG!" for the rest of the day but Nemesis makes it all better (and Duel, as it was indoors)... However, getting rid of the rays in Sealife for the bollocky spider crabs was a stupid decision... Urgh...Had a scary-ass drive back to Towers from Leek (as we went back to Leek with the prospect of Paul, but couldn't really be bothered as seeing it next week), due to dark country roads and so much fog that we couldn't actually see where we were going...
