There is a new ride for 2012 from Mondial... 65M/213Foot tall "Turbine" This looks very much like a Capriolo and a Booster all combined into one, let's hope we get one of these in the UK in the future. Just... Wow this thing looks awesome!

Went to see Skrillex at O2 Academy in Birmingham on Sunday night with Alvin Risk and Zane Lowe supporting. Alvin really surprised me, I've liked his music before but after seeing him live I have really taken to his style even more, he put so much energy into his set which really got the night going. I'd now say he's at the no.3 spot as my third favourite EDM artist. So here's some of his stuff... Zane Lowe also played some Dillon Francis, Dillon is a REALLY Awesome Moombahton artist who has recently released a new EP... two of his songs below.

All coasters, including The Swarm have clearance checks... Now I really would not expect a £20M ride to be designed in a way which it maims people. On The Swarm, you WILL be able to fully extend your arms as far as you can reach. The chances are that the picture is deceiving and there is tons of room for you to extend your arms.

DJ Fresh's Hot Right Now is just too good! It was only released on iTunes today and it's stormed in at the number 1 spot already, with the full EP at number 3. The Zomboy remix is absolutely epic too. ^ So awesome...

When people post what seems to be everything they find on Tumblr on Facebook... and get a ridiculous amount of likes on the photo's. Just no. Don't do it. It's ok if it's now and then but keep Tumblr to Tumblr and Facebook to Facebook.

A selection of snowy photo's from Milton Keynes today, which I was also taking for a photography project at school; so may as well post some here. Concrete cows...Snowy Xscape lurking in the distance.And the snowy S&D Leisure Rides reverse bungee set up at the back of Xscape, the biggest mobile reverse bungee in the world, when it launches it reaches a height of approximately 182ft! Didn't ride it today but I probably will sometime this year, it was £10 to ride...

Well... here it is in all it's glory, topped off fully yesterday. :DAnd in other ride news... Here is the first drawing I've seen of the planned 70M/230ft KMG Speed! 32 seats in total, 16 on each gondola, arranged in two rows of 8 seats on each side. Awesome! Hopefully this new ride type will start to make it's way into theme parks now that it's got that great capacity, I can see KMG doing better with this ride as a Park Model however, as the transport for it on the fair circuit could be very large (approx 3/4 semi-trailers) and therefore cost alot to travel around...Wow :oThe ride support structure will probably end up looking something like that of an XXL, shown below.

SkyRush is *almost* topped off!What a great view from outside the park! That thing on top of the middle of the lift with the cables is there to support the track until the crest of the lift hill is added soon.Track in the station and bottom of the lift hill is now in place. This image gives a nice idea as to how steep that lift actually is. Tidal Wave's gas ball is currently covered in scaffolding. IF The Swarm does have fire effects, I do wonder if they could re-route the gas piping from the gas source for The Swarm's to also provide gas for the Tidal Wave ball... It could just be general maintenance, but we will have to wait and see if it is going to be back working or not. Image credit to UK Park News.

I was hoping that The Swarm would be free from AWFUL PR stunts like this. Why couldn't they have done something more imaginative; like continuing the Lez Cougan theme.What total, utter crap this is though. It's not hard to cut off an arm and leg from some of the ex-Saw Dummies and then stick then in a Swarm seat... *awaits comments from the GP on Facebook & when the ride is open as to how they will not ride the coaster because the dummies arms & legs got chopped off* I have no words left to say.

Yes, Amanda Thompson recently tweeted... "Oh yes we have a fantastic new High diving show and the Divers will be amazing" Responding to someone asking what will be new in 2012.Interesting, don't really understand what this will consist of but should be good. Shame Blackpool has virtually no "thrilling" flat rides now.

Thorpe actually shared this video of a soundtrack on Facebook earlier. Ok, it's not confirmed to be the soundtrack yet but it surprised me that they would share something which is fan-made essentially. I must say though, something like this would be AMAZING! It would fit the ride theme well; as well as being suitable for the target audience. Personally I hope the official soundtrack turns out to be something with a nice DnB bassline, just like this, with a fairly slow pace to it.

Wow! Looks brilliant, and THAT noise I agree with most of the comments about the ride length, it is a short ride but with all this unique theming and that awesome first drop I'm sure the length shouldn't be a problem. It's also worth pointing out that when B&M coasters first run, they usually have all the same wheel type on, I'm not sure if it's polyurethane or nylon that the trains come with but they change them to match up with a recommended circuit time that B&M provide. They change the wheels individually until the train completes the circuit in the time given, so it might go a bit faster than in the video when it opens. I remember this from the Tatsu documentary; it's pretty easy to find on YouTube. Not long to go now until we can ride this!

Bling has now officially left the Pleasure Beach, and it's new home will be at Skyline Park in Germany. Sad to see it go, leaving only Abie Danter's Air as the only remaining Zierer Star Shape in the UK. This closed season the park looks to be getting just a general clean-up and refurb of quite a few things.Bling leaving the park last week.Nickelodeon Streak getting some work done on parts of it.Valhalla's new facade is getting there, with it's re-opening rumoured to be around April.And lastly, The Big One has had some re-tracking work done, I'm not sure if it's just getting some of it's existing track sections refurbished or if it's getting a whole new section, but hopefully it should pay off in the end and make it a little smoother. Also remember that the Gold Mine is getting a major refurb; not yet confirmed but rumoured to be themed to Wallace and Gromit. Looking great! Can't wait to see more testing pics over time, and maybe some videos too; will be good to see what sort of pacing it has at different areas of the ride. It would also be nice if the Developers Diary took some photo's of it going through the near-miss points to see just how close it does get.

Well because my parents don't live together I kinda have 2 christmas days, so today I've spent the day at mum's with my sister and opened all my presents here. Got the usual chocolates/stocking filler things as well as money towards my new iPhone of which I also got a custom made case with the Skrillex logo on it... Also got MW3, and that's it until tomorrow when I go over to Dad's when the grandparents will come over too. Today we're having chicken for dinner then tomorrow it's turkey. Boxing day I'm also at Dad's then the day after that it's the other grandparents and relatives, so a busy few days ahead.Today it's just a chilled day at home, playing with my new phone and watching TV. Hope everyone has an awesome Christmas and gets everything they wanted.
