Not meaning to be down on something actually happening, but seems to be a bit of a missed opportunity considering the effort and spend going in to it.

No idea what they're doing in there, but hope it's more than just freshening up. What would improve things greatly, especially in the scenes where the train is static, is if the targets moved and/or triggered things when shot. Would bring a who lot of life to an otherwise uninspired ride.

Ice disco sounds like carnage! Up for this, date depending...

I think you will. The differences will have to be relatively limited and subtle as there's no escaping that yo will be sharing the same physical space.

If it were my problem to solve I'd be handing out little disposable covers, so you have a hard foam bit fixed to the headset to make the seal, and an elasticated sleeve or face wrap made from something like waxed paper for each person to use. They've shown with the 4D cinemas they are fine with the cost of disposable over washable.

In my mind, if Dynamic Atractions are like the B&M of transit systems Simworx are like Zamperla. Is that fair?

My Mum (ie, average punter) yesterday 'oh, I saw in the paper Alton Towers are having a big new ride next year...', 'no Mum, it's just Air which you've been on with some VR goggles', 'are you sure, that's not what it said' etc etc. The perception of what is coming could well lead to a lot of disappointment even if what they produce is really good, which would be a shame. They should make sure it's much clearer, and work with the press to get it conveyed properly. Might even have been a good idea to call it 'Air Galactica', even if just for a transitional period.

The others look quite faithful to their actual style, so since when is BubbleWorks logo pink and blue? Checking the website to see if it is the case doesn't help as all the pics are still of the Imperial Leather low point, nice to see that kept up to date!

It was The Big Short. Very enjoyable, if not another Revenant type masterpiece. Makes a subject that should be dull as hell very interesting and amusing, if a little depressing with suggestion we're walking straight back in to the same situation again already.

Screen unseen again in a mo... smart money seems to be on The Big Short. Would be goid but hoping for Trumbo. Or Dads Army on a massive outsider.

Ooops! My phone decided not to show me the last couple of posts and I had the same thought as Toofpikk. Kong looks ginormous!

The last time we saw a list like that we got Sub-Terror, which started awful, clawed it's way up to acceptably fun (but somehow still not a sum that was as great as it's parts), then became inoperable. All in the space of a couple of years. Yes, it was a filler attraction and not a headliner, but it's from farces like this the concerns arise. Moaning is not the right word. Maybe apart from CoasterJamie, he just likes a good moan about everything.

There are more people on this thread moaning about people moaning than there are people moaning in the first place. Seriously, what's everyone's problem this morning? People aren't just pulling the points of concern out of their ass, they are based on real issues both with some of the (very few) things we know about this and also the many many disappointments that have preceded it from our theme park overlords. It's not just blind negativity. Am I excited for this? Yes, it'll be interesting to see what they come up with. Do I think it'll really be all they want to sell it as; groundbreaking, game changing, etc etc? No, probably not. Do the worlds firstisms in everything they put out want to make me self harm? Yes they do. Do I want another abandoned warehouse in a place I'd rather were uplifting? No I don't. Do I have deep routed concerns about their ability to pull this off in the first place, then operate it long term based on the (lack of) quality of many previous installations, but see some hope in certain aspects of some more recent (ie Shrek) Merlin efforts? Very much so. Would I rather they just used the tried and trusted technology of something like TAAO Spiderman that we don't have in the UK rather than trying be the first of something else which very probably won't be as good anyway? Hell yes. Will I actually enjoy this in the end? Very probably yes, but hopefully that enjoyment isn't tinged with the bemusement of the obvious 'what might have beens' of pretty much everything of recent years, even the better stuff. Would I be very glad to be proven wrong on every opne of these points? Very very. Do these thoughts make me a bad enthusiast? No. Should I be an unwavering ray of sunshine on the forums anyway? No.

I imagine it was just someone accidently breaking the embargo and fixing it now, not really much of a plot! From the little this reveals it raises a couple of concerns... huge staffing costs? A disjointed experience? Less new than concept than they've suggested (shock!)? Not to be negative, even with this we still know far too little know what it will be like at all, and the variations in experience sound ... intriguing.

Pretty much every news report I've seen has. At least this one acknowledges it is a re-done Air, many articles out there read like an actual new coaster is going up which as has been said is likely to cause disappointment all round when people turn up and there isn't one.

When I was at school there was a pay phone in the corridor and no one, and I mean no one, had a mobile as they were the size of a briefcase at the time. Imagine the hardship! (there was none, you don't need all this crap in your lives)

With the construction that's happened on Hulk, do we now know if it is an exact replica going up layout wise?
-
Galactic was announced this week. That trademark for went through at the same as 'automations' or whatever it was. I don't think that's been used elsewhere, and there's no other marks been registered by Merlin, it seems to ft the route this is going in, so surely it's that?

Penguins Of Madagascar Mission: Treetop Hoppers

I haven't been to that dive to see the name change. What's it called now then? -

Why? Am I missing something? -
I've seen people go up in extreme wet, and quite windy weather. I imagine there is an upper limit on the wind, but the big one is thunder; any hint of an electrical storm and it won't be happening. I imagine snow is an outside possibility in April, which would probably be a no also.

Well MattyMoo is going to just love this Jart appearance. I'd cautiously say those images are startlingly similar to what we've seen for this attraction, and if it were to be this from Dynamic I'd be ecstatic, and shocked. The tower on the left depicts the development at Ferrari World, anyone know if this has a cog based theme? Anyone know what the images on the right hand tower are from and if the pocket watch relates to whatever hat is in any way?

Well, today sucks. Spent pretty much all of my adult life waiting for an opportunity to see him live, but he never came back and now it's never to be. Such a huge loss.

In the longer term these are serviced by the same thing; being good at what they do. Investment in the parks, for the visitors, is an investment for the shareholders too as the punters come, and come back, spending their money to give to the shareholders.

Worth being a bit careful with some of these, that last one... ... no opt out for forever receiving crap from these people trying to fleece you.
