  1. For all the parks?!? What
  2. I'm glad! I was starting to think after last year it would foreshadow the inevitable dismantle of the place.

I've never really had a good run on MBV to be honest

Considering Thorpe have re-marketed their selves and are going back into the direction of family, spent all that money in turning the trains to go forward, I can't logically seeing it going anytime soon.

I actually think BWP was the best horror attraction at Thorpe last year. No sarcasm. It didn't try to be anything it wasn't, and it wasn't swarming with actors which made it eerie, and the few actors there was did really well.

I've done MBV about 4/5 times and never been split up (to my knowledge) on purpose. I did once get stuck and lost with someone from TPM and we couldn't see where we were going and one of the actors flashed on their torch to show us where to go.

I'm pretty sure any of the mazes in normal park hours are accessible to anybody, some maybe liable for a fee. Not 100% though purely because I haven't looked too much into it, but it seems logical it wouldn't be. The passing at Thorpe wasn't 18+ so there shouldn't be any problems.

If there is, it's usually like 12+, but it's just a recommended type thing. However, for Brave it Alone which takes place after park hours you have to be 18+.
  9. Much appreciated, but I cheekily get my mum to do it on Tesco Clubcard, thanks anyway!
  10. Six Flags adverts are so terrible, as is that name.
  11. Samurai isn't being moved to Chessington... Rameses is being moved to Thorpe. It's in the mid-term development plan for next year.
  12. Will need to renew my annual pass but I should be free, count me in.

Regardless, paultons new area is really looking great so far.
  14. These rides to me are like the new generation of vekoma boomerangs
  15. That looks great. this topic further emphasising the disappointment of not going to this park last time we planned... -side eyes Pete
  16. LMFAO FFSWell played Mark, well played.
  17. That's because it is (as far as I'm aware!) - I made a comment about it to our guide at the last Thorpe meet and she replied saying 'no it's not sshh, know your theming! It's not the same... It's a giant bedroom!'
  18. Dr Who...
  19. He/shes so freaking cool
  20. Given this manipulation of the mind and stuff, the initial Victorian promotional image and this tunnel-looking structure, don't suppose this dark ride could be about manipulating the mind and perceptions in seeing the world in different eras, but all of it going horrificly wrong? I guess kind of like a matrix type thing where if you get stuck in a different time zone you will die and therefore need to escape. So the tunnel acts as the 'transporter' or 'machine' that manipulates the mind itself.
  21. Well, it was ThrillseekerAlex because I couldn't get anything initially, then Alpengeist because it's a play on my second name Speaking of which, @IanNem was actually discussing his enthusiasm for changing people's usernames so make sure you send him a heap load of messages
