This is on the basis of 1 single. Often you hear 'don't let the lead single represent the album' because usually the album's content is usually far superior. The first single is always going to be the most generic/radio friendly in order to create buzz for the album. Just look at this track record. I.E. Just Dance, I Kissed a Girl, Born this Way, California Gurls Katy has always been tongue in cheek, if you had seen the teasers on YouTube you would know it's not meant to be taken so seriously. I think you've taken it a little too literal. It's a very similar piano progression (which Sara has acknowledged), yes. Roar was written in March before Brave was even released, although Brave was most likely written before, how would they recreate a song they haven't heard given they have completely different writers and producers? Additionally, it's actually very similar to the piano in Hard Knock Life from Annie if you want to pull that card. Listen to the instrumentation, the sound it self is different to anything from TD, it's radio friendly, yes, which I've already stated, which is why I think people are drawing on these direct comparisons, but the sound isn't even the same so? I like Applause, but her cult of Little Monsters act like it's the next world coming and the next wonder of the world. Just wait for the albums and sshh.

Does anyone else think the boats are tiny? Last time I went on my legs got cramp because I had to force them positions they're not meant to.

Please. Gaga jumped on the EDM bandwagon like a leech. You can tell the difference in sound from the TD era and now, listen to the instrumentation. Not denying it's radio friendly, because it is. Applause is hardly ground-breaking or pushing boundaries (although a lot of her fans state otherwise), it's ripped its instrumental off a Kimberly Cole song (not very known) and you can sing the tune to Girl Gone Wild by Madonna just after the hook. Don't know why the 'Little Monsters' are treating it like a god send when it's pretty generic it self. I have more hopes for the content on BOTH albums.

Top 10's
*NEW* After a few more trips around the planet to fill my adrenaline bar, we now see a MASSIVE change in my previous top 10. Nemesis however, remained on top. After a recent trip (including Alton Towers, Europa Park and others), could Nemesis still be KING? Here's a run down of my old top 10. 1. Nemesis 2. Revenge of the Mummy 3. The Incredible Hulk 4. Space Mountain 5. Dueling Dragons Red 6. TH13TEEN 7. Blue Fire 8. THE SMILER 9. Kraken 10. Matterhorn Bob Sleds Now for the new rankings: Coming in at #10 we have... a TIED ENTRY, one new coaster, and one other coaster tumbling down 2 positions Our number nine is unchanged and is in fact At number eight we have... Now this will be getting interesting... Coming in at number seven... At number six we have Number 5 is not a new entry but has in fact... At number 4, we see a decline of two positions with... At number 3 we see no change in positions with We are now down to our last two, Nemesis, and another ride in particular. Could it be an old entry? A new entry? Will King Nemesis remain superior? Or could something else take the top spot? AT NUMBER TWO IS AND OUR NUMBER ONE SPOT GOES TOO That's all folks

Europa Park
I went yesterday and it was amazing, the park was busy but because the park is such well spread out and has a good mix of shows and can I just say, they had 4 train operations on a lot of coasters and they were still dispatching before most of the trains even got back to the station. It was ridiculous. Didn't queue longer than 40 minutes all day (mainly 20-30 mins) and that was for Wodan in the morning. The park was beautifully clean and well themed, really had a good look at the areas and I took some photos will I will upload at some point, but right now, I can not be bothered if I'm honest All the staff were very friendly and they were all smiles. One of the best theme park days I've ever had. EDIT: PICTURES - apologies for the quality, they were taken on my phone And my favourite...

Storm Surge
I've never understood how SS pulls the queues, it always has a reasonably large queue even when it's not even hot. smh

TPM Trip Head North: To Alton Towers
Don't be nervous, I attended my first meet this year and was completely apprehensive. It's a very surreal experience for the first 10/15 minutes but everyone is really lovely and Peaj is a really great meet organiser (don't let your head explode ). But yeah, I'd love to come but I'll have to find out about uni first and what I'm doing.

TPM Trip Head North: To Alton Towers
I shouldn't have started uni by then but I'd love to come, I'd prefer not to drive the full way, but I'm willing to drive to someone's if they're driving up there, obviously I'll give petrol money and what not. I'd prefer the early September dates definitely as I'll be in uni full swing for the second date. Looking forward to it

Th13teen

I used to think Air was a bit meh but after riding it last time I really loved it, I guess because I knew what to expect, it's really enjoyable.

Sonic Spinball Relocation to Thorpe Park
Although the outputs would be bad it's still another coaster to soak up queues
-
The Flying Fish
The problem with Fish is it sticks out like a sore thumb, it fits the area but there's no divide or greenery, directly behind it is Swarm and Stealth to the left.

Sonic Spinball Relocation to Thorpe Park
Well, for arguments sake, let's say it got moved to Thorpe. Now, where would they put it? Or would they re-theme it/repaint it and pass it off as a BRAND NEW ATTRACTION? Does anyone know how long the Sonic IP is for?
