The first draft of my history coursework is due next Wednesday and because I had exams all last week I haven't yet started the last 1500 words. The coursework was split into 3 separate questions in order to make writing it easier, and then we just combine them all at the end. The only problem is - I can't find the marked draft of the first 2/3rds. Whilst not having it doesn't affect me writing the next 1500 words, I need it to sort my footnotes out, as there were some sections I had to rewrite. The work is not in the same place as all my other work, and I put all my work there, so I am genuinely clueless as to where it has gone

This came on my iTunes, I genuinely had forgotten how much I love it!

I genuinely hate it when you bend over backwards and go out of your way to keep one person happy because they will kick up an absolute storm if you don't, simply because they are too selfish to think about the happiness of others and that they too have feelings. Yes, I understand that in some situations not everyone can be happy with arrangements, but when one person in particular always has a problem, no matter how silly or pedantic it may be, it gets annoying. It also bugs me when people get jealous over nothing, especially when guys are involved, and in attempt to win a guy over (a guy who is clearly not, nor ever will be, interested), they essentially smother him. By that I mean constant texting, fb messaging, sitting next to him at school, etc. It drives me insane, especially when childish tantrums are thrown because this guy dares to speak to another girl! During advisory today, my advisor was extremely upset, as during her duty at lunch three girls began hurling racist and derogatory insults at her, simply because she (politely) asked them to be quiet down the corridors. My advisor is Spanish, and her accent is quite strong, so the girls took that as an opportunity to act as if they did not understand her. Now, whilst my advisor speaks very good English, she is very conscious of the fact that she occasionally struggles with it, and having dyslexia doesn't help her self-esteem at times. It got to the point that my advisor began to question whether or not she should be teaching at my school, and the digs the girls were making really hurt her due to the reasons mentioned above. I understand that students don't always like teachers, and clashes between the two do occur, but it makes me sick to think that a group of students would personally insult someone when all they are doing is their job. My advisor is one of the loveliest, funniest people I have ever met, I cannot for the life of me understand why these girls would insult such a lovely woman.

Mark, you don't even need to be hungover! It's wonderfully stupid television at it's best, no matter how you feel!

I'm not a huge Christmas fan but I figured I should try and make an effort this year! I don't have many surprises this year, just getting money from my parents and I know what my presents from Ian are (except the GIGANTIC card ). I have no idea what I'm getting from my aunt and cousins this year though. My nan can't afford to get us presents or give us money, so we have sweets and chocolate from her. The rest of the family will give us money. At some point tomorrow we're going round to my aunt's for dinner and things. Not really sure what I shall spend the day doing, seeing as I'm not getting anything new that I could use a whole day doing, so I'll probably just spend the day with my little sister (she's 7, and she's got a LOT of new things). After Christmas it's hardcore revision until New Years, when I get to see Ian again! Happy times!

The UCAS website. It only went and deleted all of my GCSE qualifications that I had already put onto my application, and I cannot for the life of me find my certificates to redo them. I know all of my grades for each of my GCSEs, however, I don't know what examination board goes with what GCSE. It's just annoying how I added my GCSEs to my application months ago so I wouldn't be in this position, only for UCAS to screw me over like that. Luckily that's the only thing I need to add to my application now, but that doesn't make this whole thing any less annoying!

:oI saw that with Ian yesterday, and whilst I thought it was rather good, the first one was miles better. Yes the plot was a continuation of the first film, however, one does not need to have watched the first film in order to understand the second, as references to the first film were limited. I personally thought the story telling in this film was far more confusing than in the first. There were moments during A Game Of Shadows where I didn't have a clue what was going on, and I found the execution of the film to be rather weak compared to its prequel. That, however, does not deter from the fact that I still largely enjoyed the film, particularly the humour (Watson drunk is one to watch out for). The actual plot itself is remarkably clever, although, as stated, somewhat hard to follow, unlike in the first film which seemingly had a much better flow throughout. I know that Ian found the slow motion shots an annoyance in that they broke the flow of the film (those who have seen either of the films will know what I am talking about). In the first film, they aided the story telling, whereas in the second they were largely overused, particularly towards the end. I personally didn't find them too bad, but I do agree with Ian that less would have been more.Overall I would rate the film a 7 or 8 out of 10, mainly due to the execution of the story telling. The film's saving grace was, in my opinion, its fantastic use of humour, and surprising, if somewhat corny, ending.

Aww Sidders that is horrble! I'm sure that wherever they are they are in a kind and loving home, so you can at least find some comfort in that :)On another note, we have the same laptop :ph34r:I've had quite a few pets in my time, ranging from goldfish that we got when I was about 3 or 4, to our dogs and cats we have now! Unfortunately, we have lost pictures of my older pets, the ones who have now departed, particularly my guinea pigs. One of them, Samson, was an absolute trooper. He was ill for quite some time yet continued to battle on until a few months ago.I don't have any pictures of my dogs on my laptop, and I currently cannot be bothered to upload some (lazy I know!). They've recently turned two, and whilst they can be the most irritating creatures on the planet at times (they have a strong tendency to bark and howl for the hell of it, especially when they think no one is home), they can also be so adorable! They're Jack Russels, (J.R and Hartley) so they're very yappy, and get under your feet a lot, but still pretty cute :)I also have two cats, Toffee and Buttons. Toffee is four now, and he's our little ginger prince! Buttons was a stray that we adopted, so we're not 100% sure of her age but believe her to be around 7 or 8. Lately they've been having a war over who gets to sleep on my bed at night; originally Toffee was winning, but now Buttons has triumphed! :PToffee: Buttons: (Not sure why Button's pic is so much smaller than Toffee's!)

Don't worry Sidders, my neck cracks too! However, it's never intentional unless it's hurting, normally I just turn my head and get 2 or 3 cracks from it.

This gets me excited

My right shoulder tends to 'grind' a lot and it can be really painful at times - it also cracks a lot, and hurts when it does. My knees however, my lord, no joints should crack as often as my knees do! Sometimes they wake me up in the middle of the night and I need to crack them in order to reduce the pain enough so I can go back to sleep. I know cracking your back is bad for it, yet I can't control it when my back does crack - I can twist around and my back cracks, completely out of my control.I don't have a problem with things sliding out of place, but I can sympathise with the whole 'cracking' or 'clicking' side of things, it's really not a pleasant thing to have to do for me or anyone who is unfortunate enough to be in close proximity to me.

Hmm, maybe when he has more time. That is something I would pay to see get trolled, I mean, what?

Following on from Josh's post, I also think the last film was not a good enough standard to end the series. I was largely disappointed with Voldemort's death scene, and with the film as a whole. Part 1 was, in my opinion, amazing, whereas Part 2 did absolutely nothing for me, in fact, I deemed it as a waste of my time.On another note, I am unbelievably and ridiculously excited for the release of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. I found the first film enthralling and utterly entertaining, the humour was impeccable, definitely my kind of film. I'm really hoping the next film lives up to the first, which I am almost certain it will. Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law make the perfect team, a well deserved 10/10 from me.

Yes Mer! Really awesome to meet you too, and of course Ben, Sheepie and Jay! You guys were all so lovely, really made the trip worth it! And I got to see Ian again, so really an epic win for me.Despite the fact that my knee so kindly decided to give out, I had a really great time! I actually really liked Sealife, but then I find aquariums really calm and tranquil and generally do enjoy them. Having been to dungeons last year, I must say the Jack the Ripper scene was much better, much more graphic too! The one thing that did throw me is that it's no longer in chronological order, we were literally bouncing around through the centuries. Found it too funny when Ian and I got mega lost in the maze though. :PMadame Tussauds was much better than I expected (I had been told that it's really bad!) and must say, Sheepie and Mer are 100% correct - the taxi ride is AWESOME! Also, Robert Downey Jr as Sherlock Holmes. Nearly peed with excitement when I saw that I found myself rather disappointed that Stalin has been neglected from the World Leaders section, but then again, him being a hardline Communist, I highly doubt he'd want a wax work of himself standing in Britain. The hotel part didn't exactly go to plan, particularly for me and Ian, but I still had an amazing time nonetheless. Sorry for not joining you guys drinking, perhaps we can try again another time? I NEED to see Sheepie drunk again, one of the funniest things I've ever seen! And ham sandwich ... don't think I'll ever be able to eat one of them again. Must thank Jay for that!Overall it was a really good weekend and I got to meet some lovely people. Thank you so much guys! Hopefully the meet for THE SWARM will be just as good

My friend has been going out with her boyfriend for a little while now. At first things were fine, but now I've noticed she's changed. Whenever she's with him, which is pretty much all the time because we go to the same school, none of us friends get a look in, at least, not really. She'll occasionally throw us the odd comment, but she's far too focused on him. Today, for instance, she completely ignored me when I said goodbye, despite the fact I was practically shouting at her, because she was too busy talking to her boyfriend. I'm all for her being in a happy relationship and all, I wish them well, but she shouldn't be dropping friends like that! Also, it's started to get to the point where she is very vague about making plans on non-school days just in case he asks to do something with her.

Hostel But that's so ... grim! However, saying that, I am a MASSIVE fan of the Saw franchise. I'm not normally a huge fan of blood and gore, yet Saw seems to enthral me. I think it's because despite to obvious gore in the Saw films, there is also some psychological horror behind it, not only with the whole Jigsaw storyline, but also the actual traps themselves. Imagine if you were to wake up in one of those traps, knowing you have to mutilate yourself or another person to get out alive. If you were to survive you would be psychologically damaged for the rest of your life alongside possible physical damage. That whole theme really catches my interest, as I am also a fan of psychological horrors such as Scream, The Ring and The Grudge. Saying that, I do also love the slasher genre, A Nightmare on Elm Street is, in my opinion, an absolutely brilliant film as it not only includes just the right amount of blood and gore, but it really does affect you psychologically, at least the first time you watch (it did for me anyway). In most other films the killer is a physical presence in the same world as would-be victims, however that is not the case with Freddy Krueger, who kills his victims whilst they are asleep and dreaming (I'm sure you all knew that anyway but oh well ). Sleep should be a safe haven, a chance to get away from the daily hassles of life, but that isn't possible with Krueger around!I realise that this may have made me sounds like a complete nutjob - I assure you all I'm not, I just really do love a good psychological horror flick

I'm indifferent, I honestly am not fussed in the slightest. I'm scared of heights so I will probably be crying on the inside with fear the first time I go on it, regardless of which side I sit. Give it a few rides and chances are I will have sat in all the seats across the four, and I'm really not one for trying to get the best ride from it on the first go - if you get the best ride first go, you end up feeling somewhat disappointed if the next rides aren't as good, whereas having a mediocre ride first and a brilliant ride second means you're likely to like the ride more.At least in my opinion

Yeah, I'm really not liking this look, the old one was so much better! The new colour is fine, but the layout and everything is just bleurghh. Seems a little formal, and as Sidders said, boring for TPM.

I swear people who drive near my school have no idea what an indicator is for. I don't drive and yet I know what it is, its purpose, and how to use it. For the love of god, learn how and when to use your indicator, as I have no aspirations to become road kill any time soon.

If this did happen it would increase Thorpe's potential as a top attraction so much. I just hope that Thorpe will be able to cope with the numbers they should hopefully be pulling in when the hotel opens, otherwise this could all go horribly wrong!
