Nope as that is the only open car park so it's just the standard £3 charge and free for Premium/VIP pass holders.

Oh well, hopefully the press like it.

It's quite a big thing for them to admit that the park is in such a state that it needs all this work. Yeah, it should never have got to this state but the fact they're finally seeing this and hopefully sorting it is something. Is it just an excuse for the rides that are closing? Maybe. But, if they are all heavily refurbed/replaced in the next few years then surely this is good. We don't know that this is down to Smiler. Still don't know what rides are closing but they all make a fair bit of sense. Somewhere in Merlin there is a group of people who want the parks to succeed, and they'll see that Towers is their flagship park and in no way a fit state to be deemed that. Don't forget as well, Paramount is only supposed to be a few years after this whole 3 year plan so maybe that is giving a little kick to sort the parks out. Could be an influence, even if Merlin aren't worried.

Well lots of track has been heading to Universal apparently with it being spotted nearby the park on the roads. Odds are it is being stored somewhere waiting for construction.

End of the day, Derren is a superb showman. His live shows are brilliant. He doesn't pretend to be something he isn't, the fact he says that it's all about persuasion, techniques like that shows this. We're getting a dark ride experience, for that you need a good story or something engaging. He is an excellent showman that can probably make a hugely entertaining, clever experience. He won't try and "hypnotise" you because that's not what he does. He'll just play with our mind, make us think about things differently. I can see it being a great show type of ride with him and other people who work on his shows being involved. No idea what the ride itself will be like, but the showy story element will no doubt be good.

What if the glasses represent VR? We know it's an up and coming thing, possibly the future of theme parks and Mack have lots lined up. VR ghost train maybe. Would explain the "you won't know what's real and what's not" etc. That guy who I'm not convinced is Santa could also be part of the story, still got to uncover the dark secret. He seems like an interesting character with some secrets that he wants to hide.

Really thought Mack might have closed up a bit on B&M but I guess not many people on here get the chance to ride any of their new and upcoming crazy stuff. Just shows how much we need one over here. Always amazed Disney never make much of a presence either, especially with the number of people here who seem to rave about the place. I also sometimes wonder if people forget certain rides exist, I mean Bubbleworks joint 3rd with Tomb but Duel no where to be seen? I won't voice my opinion on Baron Meanwhile, I guess Celia has succeeded. Jadam can't even win cutest couple award Must be well and truly over then, sorry J.S217, Celia has well and truly won.

Rise into the sky! Rumours this could have on board audio much like Hollywood Dream at USJ. Other rumours circulating about Seaworld, Empire of Penguins has been closed for 3 days a week the past two weeks and coming week. Apparently they know how bad it is basically and want to work on that, make the ride experience longer/better (because length isn't the issue in its current state) and a separate penguin viewing queue. Wild Arctic may also not be reopening in the new year after this run of Polar Express. It is a vicious simulator, huge space and all for just some beluga whales (since the polar bear passed away). Maybe this is the next project, another dark ride, maybe like those shown in the future plan presentation thing?

You should be okay Ryan. They'll probably start vertical construction in the new year once the Christmas crowds are over with, and the rate Universal build stuff it'll probably all be up by some time in March. Two months of testing, tweaking, playing with the effects they want to add etc and it'll be good to go. Taking it Kong is testing inside the show building and the exterior is near enough done, that thing could be soft opening anywhere from April I'd assume and it's known they want Hulk open with or before Kong so you don't walk through a construction zone to get to Kong. Whether that happens is another matter. With Potter in Hollywood being April, Kong being May would be my guess and Hulk June just to spread the press.
