I'm preparing myself for Lego Bingo on the potential aspect your winning streak will continue. Still can't believe how fast my empire Rose & fell, but that's empires!

On the off chance, whilst it's likely we will probably see a new (possibly bigger) new shop for Air in the future (maybe it'll be a joint shop for SW8 too), I actually wonder what's going to happen with Forbidden Valley Fish & Chips as it had a fire there earlier this year and hasn't opened since. Could this eatery possibly be on its way out?

This sounds really really exciting!!!! Can't wait to see this open at the park as the one at Europa just looks amazing. Just one of the many steps for the park to become the uk's Europa (not a patch).

Get Me Out Of Ministry Of Sound Official Meet 18th July 2015
Matt 236 replied to AJ 's topic in TPM 2015 Meets
Count me in for all of this (professor drunk is the theme of the night) -
Lets just hope they now use this time to get the train on two [or prefferably three] train operation as they have about a month until the next peak time and two months before the super peak season. If they have the parts yet

2015: Merlins worst year yet Think I know what I'm voting for most disappointing Merlin moment this year
-
Seriously thorpe does not need another launched coaster, especially one like Rita because they have a much better one by the same company. However something like Helix or Blue Fire would be a possible exception.
-
I think it's safe to say Legoland is the only UK (Merlin) park that doesn't have a (big) list of things that look run down or needing care (with the possible exception of Miniland). But then they haven't built a major new ride for four years now.

If only we saw more attention to detail and scale like the new Temple Restaurant in Azteca, we would all be a lot happier with our parks, a Lot Happier!!!

Yeah, I only noticed yesterday they were gone (I thought Vampire's station looked a bit more empty). I did see a couple of large round things at the side when the (only) train turned back in to the station. The UK theme parks really need to get better at upkeep (merlin are far too profit based).

This just looks fab. Europe really are getting some fantastic additions at the moment. Looks like this place is joining the ever going list of places I want to go (but probably won't go for a while).

This all just reminds me of a time when someone said here ageeees ago that the coaster near loggers (which we now know is Saw) was going to be like Air. Something Along the lines of Air is coming to Thorpe Park.

Today saw the massive rise & fall off the Creeksauds group (owner of Adder Towers, Paige world of adventures, Alpe Park & Imatate Park) was brought up by the Equip coaster Entertainments group (soon brought up by Merstone group). Had a really good day and great seeing everyone there again, the new penguin show & Azteca hotel are superb and was a generally great day even with the few park flaws. Big thanks goes to Scarycoaster boy for providing taxi service for part of the journey & for Peaj for organising another excellent meet. celia Mae's newbie winning streak seems to be unstoppable so far, (but we shall see at Legoland)

I think we're going to the Monkeypuzzle (Beefeater) (which is mentioned on the going list I think). Sounds good to me though.

Well despite being at the end of the Easter holidays and two months in to season, Colossus still seems to be on one train and the park have made these signs within the ride area. Source- Theme Park Guide When will thisone train stuff be ome much less of a thing? It's not been a very good year for ride reliability in the UK and were barely a quarter in to the season.

Yeah, I think getting tickets for Vampire should be the first thing we do especially that there may be over 30 of us and don't want to cross hope that tomorrow will be a quiet at the park like last year (it won't be) A mate of mine went Chessie last Thursday and vampire tickets had all sold out by 11.

This will also be my 2nd anniversary of TPM meets. It was Chessington that kicked it off, with me walking up with my themepark lanyard and gear when I soon learned I had found TPM waiting outside the entrance.

Ooh, such a hard one. Peter Griffin Empires or spooning game?
-
The Smiler (bolts of fun) Octonauts coaster or Troublesome Trucks?
-
Freddy! Big one or shockwave?
-
Gromit ( I love dogs) Shorter open hours or staggered ride openings?

I'm very excited by the sound of all this, big acts, two stages, plus closing shift of up to 10pm and Summernights returning too. I think this could be a highly successful event and potentially wipe the floor other parks open hours (glares at Towers 5:30 Shame on you).

Hope everything works out in the end. I remember leaving 6th form and going to college (which a complete refresh) four years ago so I could strengthen my qualifications and get to uni (where I'm now), and whilst it was quite a scary experience to start off with (new location, new people, new teaching methods etc.) I gradually settled in after a couple of weeks or so. The tutors were very friendly & helpful, I got on well with the majority of the class and it also taught me to be independent (which for me has prepared me for uni better than 6th form in my opinion). I also think everybody has that time in life at least where they do feel alone. A similar thing happened to me around 2007 (year 9) where I'd just moved house and I didn't seem to get on well with many people (and even flipping out once or twice), but towards the end of the year things had become better and quite a few I'd fallen out with I was friends with again. Expanding on Amy"s post a little, you've got remember this: 1/ those who are your true friends will forgive & forget regardless what you do 2/ sometimes things happen for a reason, to take you to a better future for you 3/ not everyone in your present life are meant to be in your future life (that's the way it is) 4/ you will always gain something from everything you do. If you believe you got nothing from something it's either taught you what not to do or what you don't want out of something 5/ relax, things will get better!

I think Dreamland will be a great little park to visit and as far as I'm aware there's at least a good dozen rides going in there too including a big wheel & Caterpiller coaster too. There's also a phase two development too, but I'm too sure yet what it will entice. Scenic railway looks loverly. Apparently the park says it will also retain the original brakeman feature too which is nice. Judging by the amount of new track (which seems to be all if it), it's safe the Scenic could be described perhaps more as a new ride built in a traditional style.

( chuckle brothers meme omitted) Dear oh dear!!! The UK theme parks have just been so disappointing this year so far with their downtime, operations, budget cuts and everything in general. Everything needs a good shake up. Europe couldn't call any sooner!
