    That idea could work.
  2. Can't say I like the supports very much.

They really show how much the ride's appearance has changed.

The problem with that would mean the throughput would be a lot worse in what's already not too high. I think it ha 4-5 trains.

Two good ride choices IMO. Crash Pad doesn't sound as bad as I was expecting.

Looks better than how it was. Although I was hoping on the stops they would include light tunnels. Does any one know if they will still run all five trains on the ride?
  7. What I hope is happening/ Chessngton will revitalise ageing rides to their former glory (or near it) and they will look excellent again. What I expect to happen/ Dragon falls will receive a minor repaint with only a dragon and lone Buddha remaining will mine train will be out in the open completely.
  8. Vampires queue seems to be getting worse every year. They need that third train back badly.
  9. The advert is very compatible to the old Legoland's ones they used. Over hyped, americanised, fake and artificial.
  10. My ratings, Nemesis 1st, a classic coaster that would still be a hit even if it was built 19 years later. Swarm 2nd, impressive theming and unique first drop Oblivion 3rd, the drop is impressive as well as the atmosphere and build up. Inferno 4th, decent substitute to nemesis and an exciting ride. But not as original as other coasters and lacks story line. Air 5th, pleasant interesting ride however gets unfomftable after a while.
  11. Which will be another apocalyptic based theme as an excuse for merlin not to bother with theming upkeep.
  12. Here's a quote posted by someone on Chessie's fb page. I see on Dragon Falls you've now lost the wonderful stone faces from either side of the drop, and rumour has it that the dragon tunnel is gone too. Combine this with the removal of the mountain range a few years ago and it's now a very bare and ugly ride! Do you plan to replace all of this? They've hit the nail on the head. However hearing about the tunnel going (like loggers) is very concerning.

And also hopefully it will reduce nausea for most guests which closed the ride often.
  14. Already looks very impressive. Perhaps merlin should take note (in terms of decent lg flumes).

Doesn't look too ad at the moment.

Except Fairy Tale Brook is closed for refurbishment.
  17. It was certainly an improvement from yesterday althoughVampire,Fury and Rattles were closed again though.
  18. This looks absolutely shocking. This is definitely worse than what's happened to Loggers, the ride is an eyesore without the rocks. If Chessie don't rebuild the rock face and structure, dragon falls is going to look horrible.
  19. Pendragons Plunge or something I think. It was removed recently I believe.
  20. The food at Legoland is delicious, when I went they served fresh gammon in the Duplo buffet with no waste on it at all. I don't think Thorpe's food is quite as good as that.
  21. Wow, that is quite a lot of rides down. That's pretty much half the park.

The crash pad looks ok, but its clearly nothing special. I can also see ths staying when the hotel opens seeing what appended to Chessie's sea life which was supposed to be temport but shows no signs of departing, five years on.
  23. Jumbos is definitely an improvement. Also unless the rock face (leftovers) are reinstated, falls will look terrible. It's certainly hadn't been a great year for log flumes.

Thoughts and facts of my visit today. Duplo Valley's main path is now accessible again and the shop has been renamed Splash Store. The three attractions still open reain unchanged, the toilets ave been refurbished and the nearby restaurant has new signage but inside remains the same. Fairy Tale Brook had a lot of workers round it with models missing but some structures were still up except it looked somewhere ear the turn table had parts broken in pieces. As for the rest, the play area is starting to shape up with mostly only structures while the splash zoo & drench towers are almost non-existent at the moment except some sort of crane on site. I can't see it finished until June at the moment , hoping too add pictures later.
  25. Falls currently looks dire, I strongly hope they rebuild the rocks.
