Yes, I was taken by the image. Taken with extreme frustration as it reminds me that this is closed. If this ride isn't open by July we might as well rename it Aldwich 2.

A squirrel in a theme park bin making headlines? That's a bit of an exaggeration. Pardon my dust whilst I narrowly avoid walking into this puddle. Must be a slow news day.

RMC hyper. Why have one when you can have everything. Roller Coaster Restaurant or Food Loop?
-
Well I think it was certain this image was going to fake. Like Merlin would use different footage and advertise something like this.

Nirvana-they were there first Music festival or Massive concert?

Oh I accept timed tickets, that they are unacceptable. Excuse me whilst I buy a thousand quebots and lavish myself in nitrogenie.

No don't find this music annoying at all. Excuse me whilst I put on my headphones and deafen myself with the Inferno theme.

Priority tickeded systems? That's going to work like a house on fire. Whatever could go wrong?

Hot weather premier Inn or Travelodge?

Agree Wodan is fab which is also why it's my No.1. Amen

I think they currently have two tower type rides [one of which may be the Sky Flyer]. As for where this is going, it's hard to say not knowing the park but the video suggest at least one of the existing will remain. Despite it's relitively tiny size [somewhere around 15 acres] it does boast a fair number of coasters including a Gravity Group woodie, A Schwartkopf like Knightmare and Vekoma suspended [amongst others]. There's also a decent looking traditional Ghost Traiin, Tunnel Of Love ride and numerous flat rides.

Indeed and whilst they are far from perfect, Disney are slowly fixing their errors from the Eisner epitome era. DCA got a massive overhaul which finished a few years back and went from one of the worst Disney parks to one of the best. Walt Disney Studios is getting there. It's got another much needed high quality ride and hoping the 25th Anniversary goes well, that park is expected to get lots of attention in the near future [Marvel Land, Avatar Land [2.0] etc.]. The one thing I've noticed about Merlin recently is how areas seem to be lacking cohesion. In a good park, you walk from one themed area to another one but barely notice the transition. This is something parks like Disney and Europa do right and something Tussauds did well at too [prior to their DIC years]. Sadly you don't really seem to get that often with Merlin rides these days with rides just being slapped down on any available plot and not always shaped in to the existing area.

This would make perfect sense if true as the ride plans suggest strong similarities between the two. Sub-Terra involved pre-shows and ABC drop towers whilst Ghost was expected to have pre-shows and also use ABC drop towers. Perhaps this is the reason why the Ninjago plans suddenly surfaced which will be built instead of rather than in-addition of Ghost. A shame really as I was looking foward to Ghost at Legoland Windsor.

Grona Lund is small'ish amusement park located in Stockholm which is probably the 2nd biggest park in Sweden [after Liseberg]. For 2017 the park will be building a giant new drop tower called Ikaros. The ride will be 95 metres tall [aprox. 311ft] and will be similar to Falcon's Fury as it will be using tilting seats.

Well that's a great shame to hear this, it seems they have given up the Ghost then (which would explain the absence in building work there). I wonder if this has anything to do with the new Ninjago ride/area they are planning for the Loki's site (which I hear they plan to open next year). Speaking on which, I've heard no news on that project at all recently, and do wonder if it's been approved.

Yes, and I can't see any exposed ware house either for that matter and planning seems to look better especially as this ride is technically advanced as well. It it looks a fine beast this one and intend to ride it eventually,

Train delays? Ride delays? Thorpe have struck gold with this one, replicating real life experiences. I dread to see the queues for this in summer.

Loverly review again. Despite having some improvements over our UK stuff, you can tell the park screams Merlin. With its fastrack, use of IP's, queue lines, style and safety procedures. Still want to visit though, even for the woodie and Krake alone.

Phantasialand sounds a loverly place to visit. How does it compare to Europa park? I'm hoping to visit later this year and stay in the hotels. Is it worth staying on site?

The solution to everything towers? Mark Mark throughputs Contraptions manufactured by Mark.

People not liking or watching Star Wars? We can't have that.

The irony when the one time Towers could've won enthusiasts over with a woodie, they give us one with a mundane layout. Still excited but it's no Wodan.
