Imagine being invited to a content creator programme and then slating it because they didn’t allow you to film the ride therefore impacting your content schedule and monetisation plan by spoiling the ride. Entitlement at its finest from TPWW. How is getting previews and freebies including unlimited fast track very one sided towards the park. I hope they get taken off the programme and a smaller channel invited.

But why is the themeing on the cylinder being bent and broken… that doesn’t make sense!

We all know that 2025 is reserved for hyperia updates and theming (perhaps removing the bog). Who knows what’s in store for 2026 perhaps a new rollercoaster or flat ride central at the beach….. Perhaps @Parm Pap could shed some light…..

How does an event go from getting amazing reviews on press night to disappointment?

Is the McDonald’s van around all event or has Burger King blocked it

Is the maze SEB endorsed or is it just going to use the murder on the dance floor song. Either way odd choice for me personally I think of SEB as a family friendly festival act bringing fun to all! On the upcharges, it’s just to make more money isn’t it. The queues are still long and times lots don’t work. Let’s just go back to the fun years please and perhaps I’ll let you off charging me £3 for the passing…Happily going on bluelight this year so will be free but also hoping for my first ride on hyperia! Still hate the fact that the event has become this family friendly day out. I want freaks roaming the park, not dance parties as you have Legoland and Chessington just around the corner for that….

Manufactures hate tall people. I’ve moved on from theme parks and rollercoasters and prefer to view from the side. There’s only so much rejection you can take……

Oktoberfest looks tacky this year. I really don’t understand why they don’t change the format of the event. Get a big tent, get people to dress up, sell beer at £8 a stein and have sessions on Friday / Saturday afternoon / evening with some ERT on say hyperia (night rides) or some other rollercoasters. It seems to sell elsewhere (Richmond , Camden etc) so why not do a real experience and make a load off the drink money….

Could also be used as an upsell vip priority parking. Say £80 a car!

Excellent to see I got something correct. Prediction for the event is that Jack becomes a scare actor for a video.

Ahh how I miss the days of free TPM ERT ( I will forever be thankful) they were some fun meets. Seems like a bit of a crap decision all round. The team at MMM really are doing a great job of making this ride look spectacular sometimes I wonder how they arnt all poaches to work on epic universe.

Have Alton towers updated their booking system? Doesn’t look like Accesso anymore!

Why would they even allow for potential roll backs in the design phase? Wouldn’t they have models to say there is an X% chance that the ride valleys in these conditions, why would they not change the dimensions of the ride until they had something which would give a close to 100% guarantee of always making it around the track… Would love to be a fly on the wall in the talks right now. Oh well gives them the opportunity to not open a new attraction next year and just remarket this one instead.

TBH if I was there tomorrow I’d probably pay the £20 fast track…. Do we expect the queue to die down seeems like ages since this has been done at Thorpe lol. I remember going for swarm after school on opening day and lapping it as the crowds dies down significantly.

Kinda feel sorry for the club XX people, seems like everyone has already been on this coaster despite them being the first lol. Enjoy your rides everyone hope it lives up to expectations. When are the crowds due to die down next, that’s probably when I will go and try it out, guessing though that will be post summer now

Looks complex but probably for the best. I think one piece of concerning information was left out though…. Overnight queueing / arriving at the park super early do they have a policy or might the team wake up to a surprise number of guests when they arrive that morning??

One interesting thing is that the lights have been on most nights, all the way up the lift hill!

I do wonder if that will perhaps go into Johns Personal development plan for next year….. ‘Fully complete a project themeing landscaping and hardware before opening day’
