    Legoland

I believe Baron C was making a pun about not yet riding the ride rather than disliking it. I'm sure we will get his full review at some point.
  2. This is a great video, well done Merlin.
  3. I'm definitely up for it! Would take a lift if someone has space, if not I guess I shall get on a train.
  4. I will be without a mobile, mine broke yesterday so if I end up being late or if someone see's me around the park looking lost shout at me please.
  5. I'm 100% down for this. Hopefully, I get a taxi home rather than walking this year...
  6. Ticket is booked. No turning back on myself now I guess.
  7. I will be going to this and the meal. This is my notice.
  8. This ride looks great and a great addition to the Chessington line up.
  9. Sorry for late reply on this one, how about a reverse basketball type game the pit would work well for throwing a ball into a pit.
  10. Why would this be a rumour? Thorpe doesn;t take a day to plan fright nights. It takes them the whole year as a team to plan. Sometimes for some attractions I'm sure it takes longer.

    Had to share this..... Thoughts???
  12. So here's the question then... say you go to the park the ride is down but they have this VR thing to enjoy. Do you still get the credit?
  13. Why complain? At least they gave the ride a goodbye!
  14. I think they should redevelop that area into a large indoor ball room jungle gym type attraction themed to the jungle. Remove the actors, one-time cost and something to keep the children entertained. That's so long as it's themed well.
  15. Seems like this article has slipped through: http://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/world/space-mountain-left-me-seasick-says-woman-suing-disney-r939m5m8v To summarise, someone is suing Disneyland Paris as Space Mountain gave them vertigo and dizzyness. They were offered a £30k payout but did not accept.
  16. At the end of the day any publicity is good publicity and they knew going into this that they would cause offence.
  17. Did you prefer Studio 13 over Asylum though. The demand for fright night at the moment is too large resulting in groups having to be pushed through the mazes to prevent 3 hour long queues. I wonder if Thorpe would ever take a Universal conga line style to the mazes and focused on theming to keep the guests entertained in larger groups. Also lets have a throwback to my all-time favourite maze .....the passing.
  18. I'm definitely done for this one seeing as it is so close to home. Food choice, Nandos is always a safe bet, TGI's is improving... good cocktails, Ask is a bit pricey but a nice restaurant, as for creams well that place is a bit sticky. I don't mind though, I'm up for a nice day out.
  19. I take it Derren's just too busy with his upcoming projects to be in the trailer for the new version. Maybe there getting rid of the tube section in the middle, maybe the gas will be changed to fields full of happy bunnies and the sun from the Teletubbies,,,,,, I guess we will just have to wait and see. It does seem as a bit of a cop out though that this is the "new" attraction, does that mean that last year was the soft opening?
  20. Put me down as a maybe. Can someone give me directions from thorpe
  21. Mine I can't recall I was too young at the time lets just say it was the train ride. However, I do clearly remember giving it a 4.5 rating.
  22. Will my legs fit on this beauty at 6'6?
