  1. Part 2 of my Christmas trip to New York The world famous Rockefeller Christmas tree, seem to have caught the guy with blonde hair in an awkward moment. Another photo of the tree with the famous ice skating and fountain, hopefully nobody broke any bones like the last time I went ice skating So tall I have to take a photo of the Rockefeller center in landscape, soon I will be at the top! The lowest of the three observation decks, still bloody high though, the view on central park is nice, plus a good view of the skyscraper where the crane got destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. The second deck and I got an awesome view of the Bank of America tower, Empire state and the good ol' World Trade Center in the distance but I'm freezing my arse off up here. I'm so rocking the oversized beany look! I look such a nerd with the Ipad though Between me and an 840ft drop is a 2 inch thick pane of glass, no I'm not unnerved at all Now on the top deck, 850ft up and it is freezing, now you can get a better view of the glass panes between you and certain death, they are not what you'd call thick. A cool little panorama for you guys alla blivvy..... DON'T LOOK DOWN! Back down now on terra therma now I can get a proper view of this art deco beauty ....and the tree. Going up the top of the Empire state tomorrow, I like how santa has restyled it to look like the top of a christmas tree If anybody who went to the Guildford ice skating trip says the rink was busy, slap your self in the face because THIS is busy. nice little look at Grand Central Before I went to bed I took a photo of the lobby of my hotel, The Grand Hyatt. In part 3 tomorrow, I will show you guys my pics of the top of the empire state and my trip to the very eerie WTC memorials Like before you can comment as much as you like
  2. Am I booked or will I have to make an extra reservation
  3. your going arent you han and yes I have amoxcicillin
  4. The snow is only meant to be light but its like 4 days away, anything can happen in that time.
  5. Well I know December was 3 months ago there abouts but I want to show you guys my little trip to New York. I will try to do it in 4 or five parts but that might be more seeming I did take 300 + photos in 4 days but no matter, plus for anybody going to thorpe park for the TPM meet on sunday will see my face for the first time lol. Just to say I dont look like that normally its just it was so windy and cold it seemed make my face look horrible and my hair was a mess :s So on to part 1: We finally managed to get out after a massive hailstorm. I seem to be bamboozled by the amount of TV on that one building. Started to get annoyed cos the traffic was horrendous and the guy infront farted, so I lost 2 years of my life after that stink out! I didn't visit Central park in the end so this was the next best thing! Even now I cant remember what it was called Dad seems to be wondering why I have lost the ability to open my eyes I've never been good with photos ! Note to self, NEVER stand up on top of open decked bus when low sign comes your way, you will end up with a badly bruised head The Empire State in all her glory Disco Biscuits seems to be popular in NY might try them next time. Blowjobs are going cheap these days in New York This was the tallest clock tower until last year (the anorak is coming out of me now ) I told you dad I don't like photos and plus nose is like bloody icicles so a photos out of the question. A photo of the new WTC under construction. Dad seems to realize why I didn't want my photo taken earlier and -10 celsius is not a great time to take photos A quick trip to Macy's before we go back to the hotel and the people don't seem happy staying still on an escalator, we don't do it in Britain and I'm certainly not doing it for you lot I'm knackered I've been walkin all day!! (rant over) Time for BED Part 2 tomorrow. Your all free to comment
  6. I'm so excited to be apart of my first TPM trip that's if my ruddy tonsillitis goes! I have never been on storm surge but I don't think that much to be sad about. Hopefully the guy controlling dete's free fall won't drop it at 3 on the count down cos I almost pissed my self ha and I hope I don't fall over which I seem to have a habit of accidentally doing so when I'm at thorpe, plus I over exuberantly ran to samurai and cut myself on the fence in the process (I'm really accident prone and I'm sure that will look funny if I do so on peajs photos ) But I'm really looking forward to it and also meeting you guys for the first time will be cool p.s. I look nothing like my profile photo

    The Smiler

NEW PHOTOS NOW THE FIRST PART OF THE SEA SERPENT IS COMPLETE !! Plus where the brakes run is before the second lift hill, a rail has been put beside it and the brake run goes right up to where the concrete walls are, so I think within the next week, we could see lift construction one or both within this week! ANOTHER PIECE WITHIN THE LAST HALF HOUR!!! DAT FIRST PART OF THE SEA SERPENT From Towers street facebook page: " With only supports being put in place on The Smiler site today, the first pieces of lift hill have arrived at the car parks." Another view of the sea serpent and the rest of the site.
  10. Seems like mixed opinions on the backwards rows, I will have to see what it is like when I go on Sunday cos you got mer who says its amazing and is as good if not better then the forwards rows and then you got people like you emmaxr2i who were a tad disappointed with it and prefer the forwards rows. Looking forward to both and I will give me opinion soon

    The Smiler

To be honest, I quite tall so if OTSR's are Implemented on the ride it doesn't bother me cos its only gonna my neck that take the force of what ever any ride throws at me ( except Colossus which I find is intensely painful everywhere). I feel the mad corkscrews and knot thing will add to the ride and like electricbill said as long as the restraints aren't as constricting as Saw's I will be a happy bunny.
  16. I'm surprised I haven't seen any photos yet for this ERT
  17. From the video the progress is looking good
  18. Gotta love a bit of Next and M&S

    Rita

I've never been on Rita, but it looks awesome, is it better then Stealth? Plus I think the scaffolding is alright, certainly goes with Thirteens like stated above.

    The Smiler

That's a nice photo! I see the sea serpent is starting to be put up as I predicted, it's gonna be so awesome!
  21. So looking forwards to this now, wonder if any new people have confirmed that they are, cos it will be nice to meet as many new people a possible
  22. I love the fact they have partially painted Stealth, now it will look almost new ! although I cant help but think Colossus needed it more.
  23. I quite like the new website, to me it looks a tad less cluttered, not to say it isnt still cluttered which it sort of is still.
