Monday motivation.

Kingdom Hearts soundtrack hardly works well with the ride. Have to feel sorry for the poor buggers working on the ride who have to listen to such racket all day. Bring back the old audio! The sweet sounds of a dragon's fiery temper! ("PLEASE...leave all bags and loose belongings with a friend...or FOE" <3)

Well either way whatever the new ride is, hopefully it has a similar charm to the original Bubbleworks; maybe musical, maybe colourful, but like Matt said, it has to be the bright and happy side of Transylvania.

...or it's being redesigned again. Like it was for this season.

What I've been questioning about the Gruffalo theme is how in a million years will it ever fit in with the Transylvanian theme? The guys down at Merlin Magic Making will have to be bloody good to pull that one off...

Everyone needs a little photo fun in their life! So post your bizarre edits here! This is one I did in Paint - simply by stitching a photo of Nemesis together and have them mirrored to make it appear like a cobra roll sort of thing. The perfect symmetry of the tree in the background (symme-tree. *ba-dum-tss* ) makes it look completely innocent.

Obviously I've always been hearing this song playing by Tidal Wave...but until a few weeks ago I didn't actually know the name of it...let alone the lyrics! Well I do now.

I'm just worried about the theme of it really, especially if it's going to be an IP. I'm just praying this doesn't turn out to be a theme directed specifically at children (ie. Gruffalo). Professor Burp was something for all ages. A chaotic, musical, brightly-coloured fizzy pop factory which will satisfy any child and adult alike...while older guests also get a laugh out of the multiple visual gags! Probably over-exaggerating a little here, but what I'm saying is, if a ride for all ages is eventually revealed to be turned into a ride for kids, that will most likely be enough to turn me away...

I really think what Thorpe really needs is a rollercoaster with at least a themed land around it. Not really impressed with "Swarm Island" being considered as a themed land when it only contains Swarm, so I'm hoping for a coaster which comes in a themed land, possibly with a story surrounding the entire land maybe?

So the shock of Bubbleworks' impending closure certainly has brought a lot of crowds...with queues stretching out beyond the Transylvania entrance! (Theme Park Guide)
