Frankie and Benny's! We're talking Italian food here! Star Wars Episodes I-III or IV-VI?

Rip up the tarmac and replace it with that rubber bark LEGOLAND has (at least it's sturdy!), possibly add some themed interactive elements to keep younger guests entertained...oh, and replace those ugly bloody fences! (Possibly something unclimbable, just so kids can stop treating the surrounding themeing as a plaything.)

'Rock N Roll Star' by Oasis is a song that both gets me going and just makes me feel great, as I remember having this in my head while cycling to college the day before my birthday in October. http://youtu.be/OhsR6IdtWQE

Banned for making the whole Monsters Inc. theme four posts long.

TPF, I'm sure that it's your choice and yours only if you decide to drop out. They can't tell you what to do, especially if you're not enjoying it. If they have to moan, shout, scream and bawl at you for dropping out, then just let that blow straight over your head, because they are no longer your problem.

Slight change of plan... ...I'm attending.

With LEGOLAND's Star Wars weekend officially underway, I can safely declare my opinion for it after today. All in all, a fantastic move by Merlin. Both LEGO and Star Wars are very popular IPs for kids...so made a great combination! The first quarter of my shift was spent in The Beginning, which included the hour before park opening. Even before the guests were let in, the atmosphere was fantastic! Star Wars characters as far as the eye can see (with VERY detailed costumes, complete with voice/sound effects) were roving the area (which made it very crowded once the guests were in), ranging from Darth Vader and his Stormtroopers to Sand People, Chewbacca, Jawas...and R2-D2! The interactivity between the guests and the characters was phenomenal...but I can safely say that this included the STAFF...considering I had a Jawa take my brush off me and run around with it, much to the hilarity of both me and the guests at the turnstiles! (I even noticed a Jawa and some Stormtroopers taking a selfie with someone's phone) But besides the periodic appearances of characters parkwide, there were other activities and takeovers available. Jedi Training in Miniland and the transformation of the Enchanted Forest into Ewok Forest for instance (Yes. Ewok Forest. Not Endor. )

You should see his blog entry then. A completely different word was used FAR more often than 'amazing'! -
Peaj: "OMG this thing is spinning way to fast!" InfernoMartin: "You're absolutely right...we must spin FASTER!" Matt Creek: "NOOOO UR MAD!" *desperately clings onto wheel* Celia Mae: "I can watch these nutcases all day..." Scarycoasterboy: "I've seen better carousels! Have you not seen LEGOLAND's?" (Celia Mae: "Um Adam...that one's EXACTLY the same as this!") Phill Pritchard: "Hi? Mate? Can you pick me up? I've had it up to here with these losers!" Random stranger in the background: "What have I let myself in for?"

You'll be eating your words once you ride Spiderman! (This comes from someone who's ridden Spiderman but not Tower Of Terror. What a hypocrite. )

You may have a point actually. My in-game images are in PNG format...and out of all the images I have, three of them load every time. This is most certainly because they're JPEGs. I'm guessing solving my problem simply lies in converting these images to JPG?

As I'm an IT student and currently pondering on how to improve the performance of that big metal box sat to my right, I'm bringing this back. So RCT3 hasn't been acting great lately (in small patches), so this gave me an opportunity to put my new-found technical knowledge to the test. The game was crashing periodically, and worst of all, none of the billboard images will load in one of my parks! So the solution was fairly obvious; I had to increase the speed and performance of that game...but there was a one-worded question on my mind; How? My first guess was to buy a new processor. My current one is an Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor with 2.60 GHz, which as you can guess isn't very high. But I had two barriers ahead of me. One of them is that my PC runs perfectly well anyway on just 2.60 GHz, and another was that as a Level 3 IT student, the idea that a processor - a tiny metal box sat on the motherboard of an even bigger metal box - would even affect the running performance of a disk-driven game in the slightest definitely didn't feel right. It was perfectly clear to the mind that a disk drive is very much an external component...as is the information stored on the disk that the disk drive is reading. But thankfully one of my friends who I met up with today isn't an IT student...but yet he's still quite the techie! He advised me to in fact buy an SSD card to put with my hard drive. My game had been crashing/not loading billboard images, simply because my hard drive was beginning to struggle. SSD cards are pretty cheap and they do help with the performance of not just the computer itself, but also any old PC game loaded onto a disk. However, I do also know that if my SSD card isn't giving me the amount of power that I need, then it's time I updated my motherboard - processor and all!

When your phone plays music as normal throughout the day...and then decides to not play ANYTHING when you're about to start your half hour long walk home from college. RANT!!!
